Doctor Who confirmed for exclusive new streaming home in the US – and network is “thrilled”

US viewers can now stream the first thirteen seasons of the revived Doctor Who series on AMC+.

As a huge Doctor Who fan, I’m thrilled to hear that seasons 1 through 13 – that’s all 176 episodes, including the specials! – are coming to AMC+ on June 11th, 2026. It’s going to be amazing to have so much classic Who in one place!

For the first time in years, US fans will be able to watch all the episodes featuring Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, and Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor.

Doctor Who fans in the US will soon have access to all 13 seasons and five Doctors of the show’s 2005-2022 run! The official Doctor Who social media announced that it will be available on @AMCPlus starting June 11th.

It’s important to note the deal doesn’t include the classic 1963 to 1989 run.

This release won’t feature the 60th anniversary episodes, nor the most recent seasons of Doctor Who with Ncuti Gatwa. Those episodes were only available on Disney+ outside of the UK.

According to Courtney Thomasma, a VP at AMC, adding Doctor Who to AMC+ helps establish the streaming service as a go-to place for high-quality sci-fi and fantasy shows with dedicated fans and lasting appeal.

We’re excited to add Doctor Who to our collection of popular franchises! This will delight existing fans and also introduce a whole new generation to the show.
