The popular film KPop Demon Hunters has quickly become a global hit, and Netflix is already building it into a larger franchise. Following a short film released this year, a sequel is now confirmed to be in development. Plus, the film’s incredibly successful soundtrack will be brought to life with a world tour – though this announcement raises some interesting questions.
Fans in the KPop Demon Hunters community are excited about the upcoming world tour and eagerly awaiting details like the cities, countries, and dates. But many are most curious about one thing: who will be participating?
KPop Demon Hunters World Tour: The Devil’s In The Details

Fans are buzzing about whether the actors in the KPop Demon Hunters movie – and the musicians behind its popular songs – will participate in a planned world tour. This includes the members of the Huntrix group: Rumi (voiced by Arden Cho, with vocals by Ejae), Mira (voiced by May Hong, with vocals by Audrey Nuna), and Zoey (voiced by Ji-young Yoo, with vocals by Rei Ami). The Saja Boys group might also be involved, featuring Jinu (voiced by Ahn Hyo-seop, with vocals by Andrew Choi) and his bandmates: Romance Saja (Joel Kim Booster and Samuil Lee), Mystery Saja (Alan Lee and Kevin Woo), and Abby Saja (SungWon Cho and Neckwav).
That’s a long list of actors and singers who worked on KPop Demon Hunters, and it would be difficult – maybe even impossible – to get them all, or even just the singing cast, to agree to a world tour.
The popular streaming service Netflix is partnering with AEG Presents to create a worldwide concert tour based on the hit film KPop Demon Hunters. AEG Presents is known for organizing major K-pop concert events, and they’ll be bringing the exciting world of the movie to life on stage.
So, the buzz about the KPop Demon Hunters tour was huge, but fans immediately noticed something concerning in the announcement. Netflix wasn’t saying whether any of the singers from the movie – Huntrix (EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami) or the Saja Boys – would actually be on the tour. And that’s a big deal because Huntrix has been really active promoting the film for the past year, even performing at massive events like Times Square on New Year’s Eve and at the Oscars. Fans are understandably hoping to see them live as part of the tour!
As a big fan of KPop Demon Hunters, I’m seeing a lot of other fans feel the same way I do: if the original singers aren’t part of the tour, it’s just not going to be worth going. Someone put it perfectly online – if we don’t get to hear the voices we fell in love with, many of us are going to have to sit this one out.
There’s a lot of discussion about other possibilities too. Some fans think EAJAE, Audrey, Rei, and other performers might re-record old songs, create new ones, or do both – and then have holographic versions of the animated characters perform those songs. While most fans seem okay with this idea, it could discourage some people from buying tickets.
The KPop Demon Hunters World Tour is another exciting development in what’s already been a groundbreaking success story in the entertainment world. Netflix took a chance on an animated movie that another studio considered too unusual for cinemas, and it paid off with a huge fanbase and a strong connection between the film and its music. Remarkably, Netflix even released KPop Demon Hunters in theaters for a sing-along event, and it still performed incredibly well at the box office, even though many people had already seen it at home. Now, many of those same fans are eager to spend money on the concert tour. Revenue is coming from all directions, and the financial impact of this project continues to grow.
