The new LEGO Batman game, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, comes out later this week. If you purchased the Deluxe Edition, you can start playing on May 19th at 10 AM Pacific Time. However, this early access is currently only available for the PC version of the game.
The game will launch at midnight local time for console players worldwide, meaning it becomes available as soon as it hits midnight in your specific region. However, players who purchased the Deluxe Edition in Los Angeles, Honolulu, Denver, and Chicago can begin playing on May 18th at their local midnight.
I’m so excited! The Standard Edition is coming to PC on May 22nd at 10 AM PT. For those of us on consoles, it’ll be a midnight launch like before, which is awesome. And if you’re lucky enough to be in one of those US cities they mentioned, you might even get to play it a day early on May 21st!
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a brand new story coming to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, drawing inspiration from Batman’s rich history in film and other media. The game features iconic villains and memorable moments, like the Joker causing chaos at a Gotham art museum – set to Prince’s “Partyman” from the 1989 Batman movie – and Bane recreating his role from The Dark Knight Rises.
You can find our review of the game here – we gave it a 9/10 score. You can also learn about the roles Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Games Montreal played in creating it.
INCOMING BATCOMPUTER TRANSMISSION: Global Early Access and Launch times are now available. #LEGOBatmanGame launches on console on a rolling midnight basis, and at 10am PT on PC.
