Look, I’m not ashamed to admit it – I love the whole dark, rich guy who dresses as a bat and fights crime thing, and apparently a lot of other gamers do too! It’s awesome to see LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight already hit a million wishlists on Steam. Everyone’s getting hyped for the Deluxe Edition’s early access before the full game drops on May 22nd – I know I am!
The game is generating positive first impressions. We found it to be a fun and well-executed take on the established *Arkhamstyle gameplay, offering something unique. Gotham City plays a central role, as it should, and the combat and stealth systems are seamlessly integrated with the story, making it both enjoyable and challenging to play as the Dark Knight.
It does get a little repetitive sometimes, but overall, this is a great game for any Batman fan—or anyone who enjoys expansive open-world games.
This week sees the release of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Nintendo Switch 2 owners will need to be patient, as a release date hasn’t been announced yet, but early reviews suggest the game will be a worthwhile experience.
