Cue the fireworks, because the drama in EastEnders is about to implode.
The drama intensifies in Walford as Ross Marshall confronts Vicki Fowler, demanding to know if she had a fling with Zack Hudson – who happens to be the half-brother of her adopted sister. The situation comes to a head with this direct and uncomfortable question.
Just like her father, the infamous Den Watts, Vicki seems to have a knack for getting into trouble and experiencing heartbreak.
Grant Mitchell tries once again to help his son, Mark Fowler, by confessing to all the crimes committed at the car lot in Albert Square. Meanwhile, Eddie Knight’s prejudiced behavior earns him a new rival.
Will Mitchell feels anxious when he has to look after his sister, Janet, by himself. Meanwhile, Ravi Gulati returns home after receiving care at a mental health facility.
Plus, in emotional scenes, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) receives a blood cancer diagnosis.
Here’s everything happening in EastEnders between Monday 25 and Thursday 28 May.
7 EastEnders spoilers for next week
1. Vicki Fowler’s infidelity could be exposed on her wedding day

Just before the wedding, Zack suddenly leaves The Vic, deeply upset by a phone call and some bad news. Meanwhile, Vicki is trying to move on from her past relationship and concentrate on her upcoming marriage to Ross, but she’s worried about the cost of a honeymoon.
She’s thinking about selling her father’s ring to try and make Ross happy, but Kathy doesn’t want her to.

The night before her wedding, Zack gives his fiancée a bracelet, hoping she’ll wear it as a sign she still cares about him. When she refuses, Zack becomes very upset. Ross notices Zack’s distress and is shocked when Zack suggests that Vicki might be unfaithful again.
I’m really worried about Ross – he’s being so quiet, and it’s starting to ruin Vicki’s happiness on what should be a perfect day. Zack just asked Ross if he’s even going to go through with the ceremony, and then he tried, one last time, to win Vicki over. It’s all just so awkward and I’m hoping everything works out for everyone.

Trouble starts when a problem with the wedding car means she has to travel to the venue by subway, leading Ross to believe she might not show up. Overwhelmed with suspicion, he shockingly asks her, right at the altar, if Zack was the one she spent the night with.
How will she wriggle her way out of this one?
2. Police swarm Albert Square as Grant Mitchell takes responsibility for Mark Fowler’s crimes

I was on the edge of my seat watching Max! He’d found some keys and was totally focused as Lauren got her new car. Then, he hurried over to number 55, clearly hoping they were the right ones for the lock. But unfortunately, Cindy spotted him and it looked like he was caught red-handed!
Grant, Sam, and Phil quickly found him and didn’t believe his story. However, Cindy thought they had plenty of proof that Mark was responsible for the stolen cars, and they agreed to share their suspicions with everyone at the grand reopening of the car lot.
To everyone’s surprise, Grant takes responsibility, saying that Mark had nothing to do with it.

I could tell right away Cindy wasn’t fooled by his act – she saw he was just trying to cover for Mark. It was frustrating, especially when Max started threatening to call the police! Then, things got even more complicated when the Mitchells found out the police were on their way. And in a surprising turn, Sam actually suggested I go with her to Portugal when she leaves – it’s a lot to process, honestly.
Phil and Sam waited in the car while Cindy and Max guided the police to the Mitchells’ house. Will Grant be arrested, or is Mark facing a serious problem?
3. Eddie Knight faces off with Harry Mitchell

Things are really strained between George and Gina, so I was shocked when she actually said yes to joining us for dinner. Turns out, it wasn’t about wanting to spend time with us at all. She confessed she only came because Nicola’s having a tough time with Ivy and needed George’s help. It felt less like a friendly gesture and more like a strategic move, honestly.
He quickly leaves Gina with Eddie, and she pointedly avoids talking to him. When he complains about her to Harry, Eddie angrily steps in to support his girlfriend.
4. Will Mitchell is concerned about caring for sister Janet

Oscar asked Will to go to a rave, but Billy explained he was busy with Honey being in the hospital. He asked Oscar if he could instead take Janet to visit their mother, who was also a patient there.
He was frustrated to get home late and find Oscar wasn’t there, but Honey and Billy reassured him that he wasn’t on his own with everything he had to manage.
5. Ian Beale and Elaine Peacock clear the air

Ian and Elaine had a difficult few months, clashing frequently throughout a busy election campaign. Following the campaign, a surprising kiss left them both unsure about what their relationship means.
Throughout all of the bitterness, it’s clear that they have a lot of affection for one another.
Next week, over a drink in The Vic, the pair agree to be friends.
Could it develop into more?
6. Ravi Gulati returns home after staying in a mental health unit

Ravi wrote Priya a letter, but she didn’t receive it and remains unaware of how he feels. This is especially difficult because she was the one who helped him get diagnosed with severe PTSD after having him admitted to a mental health facility.
Later, she’s shocked to find him back home and hoping that they can rebuild their relationship.
Will Priya be open to a reunion?
7. Denise Fox is diagnosed with blood cancer

Denise received a notice to come to the hospital for a bone marrow test and chose to go to the appointment by herself.
The test results came back quickly, and she was devastated to discover she had acute myeloid leukemia, a type of blood cancer.
When the storyline was first announced earlier this month, executive producer Ben Wadey explained that it was important to portray Denise’s experience with sensitivity and accuracy. He also expressed gratitude to Blood Cancer UK for their guidance and support in telling the story responsibly.
We want to share Denise’s story to help people understand what it’s really like to be diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, and how it affects both the person going through it and their loved ones.
