Sofia Richie Grainge is proving that the twos don’t have to be so terrible. 

Sofia Richie Grainge celebrated her daughter Eloise’s 2nd birthday with a tropical-themed party on May 18th. She shared photos on Instagram showing a colorful backyard bash complete with balloons, seashells, and a pink “Happy Birthday Eloise” arch. Eloise, who Sofia shares with husband Elliot Grainge, turned two on that day.

Sofia celebrated the successful completion of her event by sharing a relaxed selfie in sunglasses. She recently welcomed her son, Henry Cecil Grainge, joining her and her husband Elliot, bringing their family to four in March 2026, and also showcased the event’s themed decorations.

The model declared, despite all the elaborate party planning, “I’m alive!”

Sofia continued sharing sweet and honest moments from Eloise’s birthday party, like when her toddler played in a white bouncy house that also had a small ball pit – perfect for Eloise and her little cousins.

Eloise’s guests included Sofia’s close friend and podcast host, Jake Shane. While not officially a godparent to Sofia’s oldest child, he was present at her wedding in France, along with Paris Hilton, Carter Reum, Cameron Diaz, Benji Madden, Joel Madden, Nicole Richie, and Sofia’s father, Lionel Richie, who gave her away.

I was so touched when Jake shared the sweetest photo to celebrate Eloise’s latest achievement! It was of him holding her, and she had the cutest little pigtails. He captioned it saying how much he loves her, and honestly, it melted my heart. It’s just so clear how much joy she brings to their family!

The party featured lots of ocean-themed crafts. Eloise especially enjoyed decorating a ceramic seashell with soft pastel colors, making a special memory and keepsake for her and her mom.

Eloise clearly enjoys coloring! Her mom, Sofia, recently shared a cute photo on Instagram of the toddler drawing with crayons. The post, captioned “life lately,” also included pictures of Sofia’s newborn and mentioned enjoying stroller walks and Eloise’s happy giggles.
