The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales Prologue Demo is Out Now, Includes Save Transfer

Square Enix will release The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales in less than a month, and a free demo is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. A new trailer showcases Elliot’s determination as he faces an unknown threat to the land of Philabieldia, though it doesn’t reveal what that threat is.

This demo lets you play the first chapter and carry your saved progress to the full game. You can explore beyond the main story to find weapons and Magicite, too. While your progress and some bonuses will transfer, keep in mind there are some restrictions and differences in certain areas.

Launching on June 18th, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales features a beautiful visual style similar to the Octopath Traveler games, but its gameplay feels more like the classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Players will battle in real-time, switching between two of seven different weapon types, as they journey through four distinct eras spanning a thousand years.

Elliot’s story starts in the Age of Safekeeping, followed by the Age of Magic – a time often remembered as humanity’s most prosperous. Things then took a turn for the worse in the Age of Reconstruction, before a new beginning emerged in the Age of Budding, when humans first appeared. The next stage of this history will be revealed next month.
