Disney has confirmed that radio personalities Jordan North and Sian Welby will have small roles in the upcoming Toy Story 5.
The next Toy Story movie will see Woody, Buzz, and their friends dealing with a new problem: a smart tablet called Lilypad (voiced by Greta Lee) that looks like a frog. It’s the fifth film in the Toy Story series.
For the UK release of the Pixar movie, North will be the voice of Garden Gnome, and Welby will voice Inflatable Flamingo (shown below). Details about what their characters do in the film haven’t been revealed yet.
Welby shared that Toy Story’s characters and world hold a special place in the hearts of many, including their own, and they were thrilled to be involved in its continued story.
North shared their excitement about joining the cast of Toy Story 5, calling it a dream come true. As a longtime fan of the movies, they described the experience as both surreal and incredibly meaningful.

Tom Hanks returns as the voice of Woody, and Tim Allen is back as Buzz Lightyear. Joan Cusack also reprises her role as Jessie. Some fans have noted a slight change in Woody’s appearance in the latest trailer.
Joining Lee in the cast are newcomers Ernie Hudson, Craig Robinson, and Conan O’Brien.

Roman Kemp is most famous for hosting the Capital Breakfast show with Welby and Chris Stark. He also previously worked at BBC Radio 1.
He’s already familiar with animated films, having previously provided the voice for Mr. Hack in Richard Curtis’s 2024 movie, That Christmas.
In addition to hosting Capital Breakfast, Welby frequently appears as a presenter on the ITV show, This Morning.
