Summer House reunions should be fun.

Things were definitely tense during the recent season 10 recap of the Bravo reality series. It was the first time Amanda Batula, West Wilson, and Ciara Miller had seen each other since Amanda and West revealed their new relationship, and the atmosphere showed it.

As hinted in the trailer for the May 19th reunion, the romantic complications could permanently alter the friendships within the group.

West clarifies this isn’t a scandal involving intimacy. He explains it was simply spending time together, following confirmation in March that he is dating Amanda, after a difficult breakup with Ciara last year.

West’s comment prompts his BFF Jesse Solomon to fire back with, “Why continue to lie?”

Later in the day, Jesse breaks down in tears over his pal’s betrayal.

Jesse expressed deep sadness, saying it feels like he’s losing a brother. While he hopes for a positive change and to be proven wrong, he’s not optimistic about the situation.

Amanda’s husband, Kyle Cooke, who she’s separated from, says he’s been worried and hurt by the romance between Amanda and her costars.

Things come to a head when Ciara confronts Amanda about the complicated love triangle, and she doesn’t hold back.

Ciara says she’s shocked and angry to learn you’re dating her ex. She believes he’s doing it to hurt her and get a final say, and she actually hopes his plan works, because she thinks he’s with you solely to get back at her.

The heated statement makes Amanda leave the set, and Ciara advises West, “You should go talk to her.”

Lindsay Hubbard adds, “Get up and go after her West. Be a f–king man.”

Many people watching the show – and even those working with Amanda and West – are still curious about exactly when their relationship began. However, Amanda and West have stated they never intended to keep their feelings for each other a secret.

We needed some time to sort through our feelings privately, considering how complex our relationship is and the public attention we get from being on a reality show,” they explained in an Instagram post on March 31. “We’ve always been there for each other as friends, through good times and bad, and this recent development was a surprise to both of us. Although the couple said they didn’t want to cause anyone pain or seem thoughtless, Kyle was upset to find out his ex-girlfriend and best friend had started dating without telling him.

The founder of Loverboy said in a TikTok video on April 2nd that someone deeply betrayed him. He told journalist Adam Glyn that this person ended their friendship quickly and without consideration, asking, “Whatever happened to the bro code?”

Kyle, who revealed he was getting divorced in January, showed support for Amanda despite the negative reactions to their relationship.

I’m being understanding with Amanda because she’s clearly going through a difficult time emotionally. Right now, her well-being is my priority, not figuring out what happened. I don’t believe West can provide the support she needs right now.
