The Ocarina of Time Remake Is Likely to Be Revealed in June and Released in November
Fans of the Zelda series should mark June 16th as a possible date for a new game announcement. This date is based on recent leaks, which have suggested a mid-June reveal.
The rumor of a remake of Ocarina of Time started with leaker Nate the Hate, who predicted an announcement as early as June and a release during the holidays. More recently, Jeff Grub, another well-known insider, mentioned a possible Nintendo Direct presentation around mid-June, potentially coinciding with the announcement.
Since rumors about the game started circulating in mid-June, Nintendo might be planning to announce something significant on June 16th. This date is special because the 3DS version of Ocarina of Time was originally released on June 16, 2011.
It would be a fitting tribute to reveal a remake of Ocarina of Time on the 15th anniversary of the original remake. Plus, Nintendo often holds Direct presentations mid-week, and June 16th is a Tuesday this year, making it a likely date.
Also, mark your calendars for November 19th – that’s when the game officially comes out.

The new game is launching on June 25th, which is very close to the original North American release date of Star Fox 64 – June 30, 1997. It was also announced just a week after it first came out in Japan on April 27th.
Nintendo is clearly looking back to its N64 roots with the recent remakes for the Switch 2. Fans are hoping the new version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be as amazing as the original.
