With the release of 007 First Light just around the corner – less than a week away! – IO Interactive seems very pleased with the positive reaction to their new take on James Bond’s origin story.
The game is currently the top pre-ordered title on the PlayStation Store in both the US and the UK. We believe the free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition and the offer of one-day early access are likely contributing to its popularity.
There’s a bunch of cool stuff packed in, but I think this game is going to be really special. They’re actually trying to make the ultimate James Bond game, and honestly, I think they can pull it off. Plus, the PS5 Pro version is going to take full advantage of the new PlayStation tech right from the start. What I’m really hoping is that this game will finally establish James Bond as a consistent force in gaming – kind of like how Arkham is the first thing everyone thinks of when you mention Batman games.
