Sony has trademarked a new PlayStation 5 game called Break In, and it’s likely we’ll learn more about it during their State of Play presentation next month.
The document, filed in both the US and Europe, only states that the project involves “video game software” and doesn’t offer any further details.
To be honest, the name is so unclear it could refer to almost anything. Some people think it might be a new name for Fairgames, since the Haven update focuses on a “heist” theme. That’s definitely a possibility.
It’s possible this could be almost anything – perhaps the horror game Firesprite is reportedly working on, or even a game made by another studio that Sony has published.
Okay, so here’s what I’m thinking: the date on the trademark application is a huge hint that we’re going to see this announced at the State of Play on June 2nd. It just feels really likely based on the timing!
I’ll continue researching to find more details, and I’ll stay informed about any new gossip or news that comes up.
Currently, rumors suggest Sony will reveal a new game called Break In at their upcoming State of Play presentation. That sounds interesting!
