Viewers will soon learn whether Emily can stay in Paris. Netflix has made a decision about the future of the show.
The popular series Emily in Paris first premiered in 2020 and quickly gained a large following. Created by Darren Star, who also made Sex and the City, the show has filmed in Paris, Rome, and will soon be heading to Greece. However, Netflix has announced that Season 6 will be the show’s last.
Say Adieu to Emily in Paris
The show follows Emily Cooper, a 29-year-old marketing professional, who takes a job in Paris. Through twists and turns in both her career and love life, Emily is still searching for her perfect ending, which seems to be on the horizon.
As a huge fan, I was so excited to hear that Emily in Paris is coming back for a Season 6! Lily Collins herself shared the news, saying it’ll give us everything we adore about the show and wrap up Emily’s incredible journey. Netflix officially greenlit the new season back in January, which was amazing news so soon after Season 5 dropped in mid-December.
Even though this chapter is closing, Emily’s adventures aren’t over yet! She’s heading to Greece, then Monaco, before finally returning to Paris.
Emily in Paris Season 6 doesn’t have a release date yet.
