Prince William, 43, hinted he might attend the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. It sounds like everyone is anticipating the big day!

On the May 22nd episode of the Heart Breakfast radio show, co-host Amanda Holden playfully asked the royal, “Did you receive an invitation?”

William didn’t want to say much, but he hinted he was hopeful about receiving an invitation, saying, “No comment, but I’m optimistic and think one might be coming.”

Getting an invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding would make Prince William a hero to his kids. Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8, are all huge Taylor Swift fans – they’re such big fans, in fact, that William even asked the hosts of the Heart Breakfast show to play her song “Opalite” for them.

Prince William revealed that his daughter, Charlotte, and son, Louis, are big fans of Taylor Swift, with Charlotte being especially enthusiastic. He shared that they all attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and had a wonderful time.

Taylor Swift said she and Travis Kelce could still feel the energy from her June 2024 concert at Wembley Stadium, even after the royal family—who watched from a suite—took photos with them.

Taylor Swift, a well-known enthusiast of the number 13, shared her love of numerology, math, and dates during a recent two-hour appearance on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. The episode aired on August 13th, just 13 days before their engagement announcement. However, Travis’s father revealed they had actually told close friends and family about their relationship three days earlier. Swift described finding these kinds of patterns and numbers “really fun.”

Travis choosing to play another season in the NFL impacts their strategy, giving them until July, when training camp begins, to prepare.

While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end certainly could have found time for a wedding in October, which is Taylor’s favorite month, saying it happened “during the bye week” just doesn’t sound as romantic as if it had happened during a more relaxed period.

Taylor Swift is famous for her close friendships with many celebrities, but she revealed in October 2025 that she hadn’t started planning her bachelorette party yet.

She admitted that people might assume she’d always dreamed of her wedding, but she actually never gave it much thought until she met the person she wanted to marry. She shared this on the U.K.’s Heart Breakfast radio show.

After the ceremony, where she’ll wear a beautiful gown to say her vows, the tall bride—she’s five feet ten inches—plans to change into a more comfortable dress so she can dance all night.

Even Vera Wang, a leading expert on wedding dresses, believes Taylor Swift will wear multiple outfits, and that at least one will include lace.

Travis is also into fashion, so he’s excited to choose a wedding suit that really expresses his personality.

He proposed while wearing shorts – it was a hot August day in Kansas, after all – and people online jokingly challenged him to wear equally fashionable shorts for his wedding. However, he probably wouldn’t want to make such a bold fashion statement and risk overshadowing his partner, who will be wearing a beautiful dress.

Taylor Swift jokingly reassured fans in a 2012 interview with Cosmopolitan that she hadn’t already chosen her future husband’s tuxedo. She explained she wanted him to feel like his presence truly mattered.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m following the wedding buzz, and it’s clear family is huge for Taylor and Travis! Naturally, their parents and brothers are definitely at the top of the VIP list. And it sounds like Jason Kelce, likely to be Travis’s best man, will have a sweet crew with him – his daughters Wyatt and Elliotte are perfect flower girl age! Depending on the wedding date, his youngest, Bennett, might even join them. Little Finnley, though, is probably still a bit too young to stay up for all the fun!

It will be interesting to see which of Travis’ teammates are invited, but he was a groomsman at Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’ wedding in 2022, so we know at least one player will be there, along with coach Andy Reid. Plus, he’s maintained a close group of friends since high school, meaning his bachelor party – filled with golf and drinks – is going to be a lot of fun.

Taylor Swift’s childhood friend, Abigail Anderson, continues to be a close and important person in her life. And although Taylor’s group of friends has changed over time, Selena Gomez remains one of her closest confidantes.

Honestly, I can totally see a friend or family member getting ordained online to marry them – it feels so them. Though, let’s be real, while it would be amazing, I don’t think Flavor Flav is actually going to be the one leading the ceremony!

On the September 17th episode of New Heights, Travis shared his preference for live music, saying, “I think we’re just the type of people who like bands.”

Ugh, we knew it, we’re so on the same page.

Even if the bride doesn’t perform herself, she has many friends who are talented singers and comfortable performing.

Taylor Swift specifically mentioned Haim, but jokingly said it would be difficult to prevent Ed Sheeran from performing at her wedding.

She explained in an October 2025 interview with Hits Radio that Ed Sheeran is a natural performer. As she put it, ‘If there’s a stage, Ed knows he’ll be on it.’ He understands what his audience enjoys and is dedicated to delivering that experience.

Taylor may love Travis so much she’d marry him with paper rings, but that won’t be the case.

On game days, he sometimes wears a sporty, flexible wedding band. But most of the time, he wears the Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond ring Travis chose for his fiancée, created by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.

The ring has a long, central diamond with smaller diamonds on either side, all set in yellow gold that’s been specially engraved. It perfectly complements the $27,300 Cartier watch he used when he proposed.

I recently shared on The Graham Norton Show that I really didn’t want the headache of deciding who to invite to my wedding! Honestly, the thought of having to cut people from the guest list was awful. It meant really having to think about and judge my relationships with people, and I just didn’t want to do that. It felt too stressful and complicated.

And, she added, “I’m not gonna do that.”

Comedian Nikki Glaser, who is a big fan of Taylor Swift, believes a large wedding is coming. She told TopMob News at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, “It has to be – everything has been building up to this!”

Nikki said she knows the person just wants to celebrate with everyone she loves, and she has a big circle of friends and family. Nikki jokingly added that she’s already anticipating photos of a helicopter flying overhead, somehow managing to disrupt the celebration.
