Looking for a reason to try GeForce NOW Ultimate? NVIDIA is now offering a free Steam key for the game 007 First Light with new 12-month memberships or upgrades to the Ultimate plan – but only for a limited time. Keep in mind this isn’t a free game for all GeForce NOW users; it’s exclusively for those with an annual Ultimate membership.
Here Is What the Offer Actually Includes

Beginning May 21st, NVIDIA is giving GeForce NOW Ultimate members who sign up for or renew a 12-month membership a free copy of the game 007 First Light, available through Steam. This offer is good until June 10, 2026.
The new 007 game, First Light, will be available to play on May 27, 2026. NVIDIA promises that if you get the game before launch, you’ll be able to start playing immediately – no need to download or wait!
In the U.S., a year-long Ultimate membership costs $199.99 if paid all at once. With the standard game priced at $69.99, the subscription effectively costs about $10.83 per month when you consider the game’s value.
Not Every GeForce NOW Plan Qualifies

Here’s what’s important: NVIDIA’s deal only applies to their 12-month Ultimate membership. If you currently have a monthly subscription, a day pass, or a lower-level plan, it won’t qualify. To get the bonus, you’ll need to switch to or buy the 12-month Ultimate membership before June 10th.
Prices and availability can differ depending on your location, so it’s best to check the GeForce NOW membership page for your region before making a purchase.
How to Claim the Game Once You Subscribe
The redemption process is straightforward. Here is how it works:
- Purchase or upgrade to a 12-month GeForce NOW Ultimate membership.
- Open the NVIDIA account portal.
- Navigate to the “Available to Redeem” section.
- Sign into your Steam account.
- Complete the redemption to add the game to your Steam library.
Once redeemed, the game sits in your Steam library. It is not locked exclusively to GeForce NOW.
Yes, NVIDIA Says You Keep the Game After Redemption
NVIDIA confirms that once you redeem the game, it’s yours to keep permanently. This is directly stated on their official blog and is a key benefit of the offer.
You Can Play It on Supported Devices That Could Not Run It Locally
What’s really great about this package is how it helps people with less powerful computers. If you’re a GeForce NOW Ultimate subscriber, you can play 007 First Light by streaming it directly from NVIDIA’s servers, which use the latest RTX 50 Series graphics cards. NVIDIA says Ultimate members get access to features like streaming in up to 5K HDR with enhanced DLSS 4 performance and incredibly detailed visuals.
This bundle lets you play demanding new games on devices that normally couldn’t handle them, like older laptops, Chromebooks, Android phones and tablets, and smart TVs. If your device is compatible and you have a good internet connection, you can enjoy a high-quality gaming experience without needing an expensive gaming PC.
007 First Light on GeForce NOW at Launch
Get ready for 007 First Light, launching May 27, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow in the summer of 2026. The game stars Patrick Gibson as a young James Bond – a 26-year-old naval airman recruited by MI6 before becoming a 00 agent. Gemma Chan and Lenny Kravitz are also part of the cast. Lana Del Rey and David Arnold collaborated on the game’s theme song, which will be performed by Del Rey. You can find a detailed guide covering the game’s story, gameplay, available editions, and supported platforms if you’re looking for more information.
If you pre-order now, you’ll get a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition! Plus, digital pre-orders get a 24-hour head start on playing the game.
Do Not Confuse This With the RTX 50 Series Bundle
Just a heads-up: people sometimes get these two offers confused. NVIDIA is also running a separate hardware promotion at the same time. If you buy certain RTX 50 Series graphics cards or laptops – like the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, 5070, or 5060 Ti – you can get the game 007 First Light, but through a different process than the main promotion. It’s important to know that these are two distinct offers with different rules and requirements. They aren’t the same deal.
Is It Worth It?
Whether this is a good deal really comes down to how you plan to use cloud gaming. If you were already considering a year-long GeForce NOW Ultimate subscription, this is a great price. It works out to about $10.83 per month, including a $69.99 game, for the full year at $199.99.
If you weren’t already considering that subscription level, getting the annual plan just for the free game would cost you an extra $130 compared to buying the game on its own. In that situation, I’d recommend simply purchasing the game separately. The annual plan is only a good value if you’ll actually use the subscription benefits, not just the free game.
