Alix Earle Reveals Preference for Older Men After Tom Brady Rumors

Alix Earle is getting candid about her love life. 

After months of speculation about a relationship with Tom Brady, the influencer shared that she generally prefers to date men who are older than her.

Alix shared on her YouTube series, Get Real With Me, that she went on a date with someone a year older, but she wouldn’t repeat the experience. “I can’t do it again,” she said.

“It didn’t feel like I was with a man,” she added. “I want someone to take care of me.”

Since her split from Braxton Berrios in 2025, the 25-year-old hasn’t had much success dating men her own age. She also revealed she’s dated people with significantly different ages, and those relationships didn’t work out either.

“But sometimes then I’ve gone too far the other end,” she explained, “and I’m like ‘Grandpa!’”

Alix explained she’s looking for an older partner because she feels too mature for people her own age and wants someone experienced and self-assured.

This isn’t the first time the TikTok star has talked about what she’s looking for in a partner. She previously hinted that she wasn’t interested in dating athletes, seemingly referencing her past relationships with Braxton and Tom, and stated she wouldn’t be dating any football players in the future.

Alix shared in a YouTube video about Coachella, posted on April 16th, that she really wants to date a rock star. She explained it’s a long-held dream of hers, especially after seeing the band Sombr perform at the festival.

People speculated that the former Dancing With the Stars contestant was dating Tom, 48, after they were seen together at a New Year’s Eve party in St. Barths. They were also spotted at several other events in the following months, fueling the rumors.

Although Alix hasn’t publicly acknowledged a romantic relationship with the NFL star, she’s openly discussed life after her breakup with Braxton, 30, and admitted that the most difficult part was dealing with loneliness.

I’ve been following her for a while now, and in a recent TikTok she shared something I really connected with. She was saying that, of course, she has her support system – friends and family – but she feels a bit strange about needing a romantic partner, or even just a guy friend, for basic emotional support. Like, wanting that stability or someone to simply chat with or take her mind off things feels…off to her, and honestly, I get that feeling too.

But as Alix navigates her new chapter as a single woman, she’s making sure to give herself grace. 

She admitted to feeling strange and down, and even said it might sound foolish, but wanted anyone else experiencing similar feelings to know they weren’t alone.

She described her former mindset as harshly judging these couples and assuming the worst.

However, she now realizes she was wrong.

She admitted that being in this relationship herself has changed her perspective. She now questions why she used to be so judgmental, recognizing that love can look different for everyone, and that different doesn’t make it any less real or valid.

Get ready for this: actor Stanley Tucci, known for The Devil Wears Prada, revealed he almost broke up with his wife early in their relationship.
