A popular animated show from MTV’s 1990s lineup is returning this summer with a new release on Netflix. Netflix is announcing a wave of new shows and content launching this June, and this includes bringing back some classic series that originally aired on MTV. Previously, these shows were only available on other streaming services, but now a much larger audience will be able to enjoy them.
Netflix has announced that it will finally stream Beavis and Butt-Head, including both the original 1990s series and the new revival. This means fans will have access to all episodes, and a new generation will discover the show’s classic moments – and maybe even some revival episodes they missed.
Beavis and Butt-Head to Stream With Netflix in June 2026

Starting June 16th, you’ll be able to stream the first two seasons of Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head on Netflix. The series has been running since 2022, with three seasons released so far, but until now it’s only been available on Paramount+ and Comedy Central. Bringing it to Netflix will allow a much wider audience to enjoy it. While there was a short revival in the 2000s, it didn’t get much attention either. Overall, this is great news for fans!
Also debuting on Netflix that day is Beavis and Butt-head: The Mike Judge Collection: Volumes 1-3. This collection features the original 1990s animated series, previously released on DVD with some changes from its original MTV airing. The DVD release was significant because it included the music videos from the original broadcast, and fans will be excited if Netflix includes those same classic videos that made the show so popular in the 90s.
What’s Next for Beavis and Butt-Head?

I’m so stoked that Beavis and Butt-Head is back! The recent revival on Comedy Central and Paramount just wrapped up its third season, and it’s been a huge success. The best news? They’ve already greenlit a fourth season! We don’t have a date yet, but I’m already counting down the days. What’s really cool is how the new seasons manage to be hilarious with current stuff, but also throw in tons of awesome nods to the original series for those of us who’ve been fans forever. It’s a perfect blend!
Mike Judge’s recent success with the Beavis and Butt-Head revival has sparked renewed interest in his other work. King of the Hill is also returning with three new seasons, and it’s likely we’ll see even more of Judge’s classic shows make a comeback. In the meantime, you can watch everything Beavis and Butt-Head, including the movies, on Paramount+.
