Embracer Group is moving forward with a new strategy after confirming that the company will split into two separate parts. One of these divisions will focus on major franchises like Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Tomb Raider, and The Lord of the Rings.
The company is also exploring the possibility of reviving some of its older, smaller franchises like Legacy of Kain, Thief, Saints Row, and Red Faction. However, its main focus will continue to be on its biggest and most popular titles.
Warhorse Studios, the creators of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, are at the forefront of this exciting development. They’re currently making a sequel to Kingdom Come, as well as a brand new role-playing game set in the world of Middle-earth.
New Kingdom Come: Deliverance Game Is Closer Than Expected

According to information shared by Warhorse Studios communications director Sir Tobi during a community stream on YouTube, fans “don’t have to wait seven years for another Kingdom Come.”
During the livestream, he announced that Prokop Jirsa, the lead designer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, is now heading up development of the next game in the series. It’s currently unclear whether this new game will be called Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3, or a separate story within the same universe.
The new game is currently planned for the next fiscal year, which runs between April 1, 2027, and March 31, 2028. This means players could see the next Kingdom Come: Deliverance release in less than two years, a much shorter wait compared to the seven years between the first and second games.
Sir Tobi briefly mentioned the upcoming Lord of the Rings role-playing game, which will be set in Middle-earth. He also revealed that Viktor Bocan, who was design director on Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, is heading up development of the new RPG.
For now, Warhorse Studios is keeping many details about these projects secret, but as more information becomes available, we’ll make sure to let you guys know here at esXX.
The creator of the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance recently criticized Ubisoft, suggesting they have the resources to produce ten games similar to his upcoming sequel, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, annually.
