
For many years, the anime and manga world has been largely shaped by content aimed at young boys, known as ‘Shonen,’ with most popular series focusing on action and fighting. Many of the best-selling manga ever, like One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, and Demon Slayer, fall into this category. While ‘Shojo’ anime and manga (aimed at young girls) often receive less international attention, they frequently offer some of the most original and creative stories.
