LEGO Batman Glides Ahead of Forza Horizon 6, Yoshi for UK Number One Debut

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight surprisingly topped the UK’s physical video game sales chart, even with a lot of other popular games competing for the top spot.

A family-friendly action game jumped to the top of the charts, selling better than other new releases like Forza Horizon 6 and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, which came in second and third place.

Okay, so LEGO Batman really blew up on the PlayStation 5 – like, 86% of all copies were sold there! I’m guessing once the Switch 2 comes out and gets its version, it’ll probably be where everyone’s playing it most.

LEGO games are usually quite successful, and pairing that with a beloved superhero like this practically ensured strong sales.

Even if the game wasn’t very good, it would likely still be popular, but fortunately, it’s actually a fantastic game that most people will enjoy. Our review gave it an 8 out of 10, and we said it’s sure to be “some of the best fun you have all year.”

We anticipate this game will remain a top-selling physical title in the UK for the foreseeable future. Sales in the US are also expected to be strong, but we won’t know exactly how well it’s performed there until Circana releases its May 2026 data.

Here’s the full top 10 (physical sales only).
