Love Is Blind’s Kyle Abrams Is Married, Expecting First Baby

Life can change in the blink of an eye.

For Kyle and Ashleigh Abrams, who met on Love is Blind, this is particularly true. The couple recently got married just days after finding out they are expecting their first child.

Let me tell you, getting married and welcoming a little one is just the starting point! The past month has been absolutely wild for me – a beautiful, chaotic whirlwind, and honestly, I’m still trying to process it all!

The video, titled “Life Update,” showed Ashleigh announcing to the camera, “It’s Wednesday, April 8th, 2 p.m., and we’re getting married!”

I was so thrilled to see Kyle and Ashleigh’s beautiful courthouse wedding! It was such a sweet and intimate moment, and Kyle was beaming as he showed off their marriage certificate. But the joy didn’t stop there! Shortly after, Ashleigh shared the incredible news – she’s pregnant! She actually filmed the positive pregnancy test to share with everyone, and it was such a heartwarming thing to witness.

I was so excited to see Kyle share another peek at their beautiful wedding! He posted this adorable picture of him and his future wife holding hands and beaming, with a lovely bouquet of flowers on the table between them. The caption really got me – he said, ‘The best year yet, here’s why,’ and honestly, it just feels so right! It’s clear they’re incredibly happy, and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds for them.

The 33-year-old, who previously got engaged to Shaina Hurley on season two of Love is Blind but didn’t get married, also posted a video blog (vlog) documenting their busy week with Ashleigh.

Ashleigh, an artist who gained popularity online, recently shared an update with her fans. She explained that she’s been busy studying acting for the past year, which is why she hasn’t been creating as much visual art. She’s enjoying this new creative path and finds it really fulfilling.

She shared that she had gone through a divorce, moved around a bit, and then remarried – and now they’re expecting a baby! She described her life as completely changed, but in a really good way – full of fun and excitement.

The show then follows Ashleigh and Kyle as they discover they’re expecting a baby, share the news with their families, and get married in Chicago. Kyle previously dated Deepti Vempati, a fellow cast member, and was engaged to Tania Leanos in 2023.

Ashleigh said April was an incredibly busy and exciting time. “It felt like everything was happening so fast, but in a really good way,” she explained.

Kyle was surprised to discover you could actually get married at the city courthouse any day of the week, even a Wednesday!

As her wedding day approached, Amber, a mother to Emma, confided that she was anxious about whether Jordan would actually go through with the ceremony.

She was relieved when both of them agreed, and the news brought tears to almost everyone’s eyes, even her daughter’s.

The couple announced during a heartfelt conversation at the season 10 reunion that they had broken up after only four months together.

Right before their nuptials, Brittany revealed she was “shocked” when Devonta called it all off.

She shared with the camera that today was meant to be her wedding day, but it didn’t happen. She added that she feels like none of her hopes and dreams are coming true right now.

Although things were good with her former partner, Devonta explained she couldn’t commit to marriage because she wasn’t sure she could give him the love he deserved. She realized she had too much uncertainty to move forward with the relationship.

Although Brittany seemed optimistic, saying they’ll remain a couple, Devonta has clarified that he doesn’t share that view.

Devonta shared at the season 10 reunion that he’s engaged to a longtime friend and they are expecting a child.

Despite calling off their wedding just days before the event, Bri and Connor revealed at the reunion that they are still deeply in love and plan to eventually get married.

Their engagement ended suddenly when Chris told Jessica he wasn’t physically attracted to her.

Jessica later shared at the reunion that she’d found love with another participant, Dr. Haramol Gill.

During the show, Haramol told Jess, ‘You light up every room you enter. You’re amazing.’

Despite falling in love without meeting in person, Emma and Mike ultimately couldn’t overcome their disagreement about having children. Emma wasn’t sure she wanted them, while Mike was certain he did, and this difference proved too significant to resolve.

Mike told Emma, “I love you.” But he wasn’t ready to commit to marriage just yet. He explained that he really wanted to have children and needed to be sure they both wanted the same thing – a family together. He didn’t want to rush into a decision and then have their feelings change later on.

Emma mentioned she occasionally envisions a future family for them, but Mike wants her to be completely sure before they move forward.

He told her that before they could get married, he needed to be certain they both wanted to have a family together. He emphasized he needed a full commitment, not a hesitant one, and that while he understood she had her own reasons, he couldn’t move forward without that certainty. He apologized for needing to be so clear.

The soccer coach, who gained attention from viewers this season, described his wedding day as similar to a high-stakes penalty shootout, but expressed confidence that he and his partner would succeed.

Despite the question, Ashley stated that marriage wasn’t the plan, but he readily agreed when asked if he would commit.

“I already know what you’re thinking,” she said to him. “You’re not picking me, and I’m not picking you either.” Ashley then explained why their relationship wasn’t working, even questioning his honesty. Alex immediately responded to her concerns.

He admitted he partially disagreed with her assessment of his character. He explained that the questions about his past felt like a trap, designed to find mistakes rather than to genuinely get to know him.

When asked if he had any regrets, he said, “Not at all! I’m very happy with who I am and proud of everything I’ve done.”

Christine and Vic immediately connected and were excited about building a future together.

During his wedding vows, he shared that he didn’t expect to find love through such an unusual experience. Turning to his wife, Christine, he explained that they instantly felt a connection when they first spoke while separated by pods, and that she knew him better than anyone else.

Ultimately, Anton’s lifestyle and money problems weren’t a good fit for what Ali wanted.

She told the truck driver, as they stood at the altar, that she couldn’t marry him. She explained that the man she’d connected with while they were only able to talk was very different from the man she’d gotten to know in person.

So, she listened to her intuition.

She explained to the cameras that the experience didn’t meet her expectations and didn’t feel authentic. She also felt he hadn’t been completely honest about his life.

Anton wasn’t sure what went wrong – whether it was a matter of appearances, the overall feeling between them, or simply how they lived together. But he insisted he always had her best interests at heart.

Despite finding common ground through shared experiences with family members who have Type 1 diabetes, Megan and her fiancé ultimately couldn’t overcome their lifestyle differences – he favored simplicity, while she enjoyed luxury. This led Megan to end their engagement at the end of the ninth season of the show.

“It’s like we’re just passing ships – completely different people,” the entrepreneur explained. But Jordan didn’t understand the comparison, saying, “I don’t get it.”

After Megan mentioned Jordan’s difficult eating habits and strict schedule, he responded by questioning why she had chosen him during the initial pod dates.

She admitted she’d hoped their differences would work out, but ultimately had doubts. “Looking back, I realize I never wanted to get married and risk putting either of us through that,” she said, and both of them started to cry.

Jordan admitted his biggest regret was letting his son, Luca, meet her. He explained in a private moment that he believes she doesn’t love him for who he is, and realizing that is enough for him to move on.

Megan shared that the experience made her doubt her abilities as a mother, wondering if she was too focused on her own needs.

At their wedding, both Kalybriah and Edmond expressed strong feelings for each other, saying they loved each other very much. However, Kalybriah ultimately rejected Edmond’s proposal and apologized.

She told the realtor she needed someone who was fully committed, and admitted she wasn’t in that place right now. But she quickly added that saying ‘no’ didn’t mean she didn’t care for him.

It was heartbreaking watching Edmond get emotional, but Kalybriah was so kind, thanking him for handling things with such grace as she explained her difficult decision. He was brave enough to ask if we might see them together in the future, and Kalybriah didn’t shut down the idea – she said she’d definitely keep him in mind. It gave me a little hope, honestly!

“I am shocked,” he said in a confessional of her decision. “There was no bright side.”

Joe and his partner didn’t get married in season nine; he ended things after an emotional breakdown while trying on his tuxedo.

Madison recalled to Glamour that Joe presented different sides of himself depending on whether they were filming or not. When the cameras weren’t rolling, he was comforting and affectionate, even physically close. But on camera, his behavior changed completely, and you can actually see that shift during the pool party scene.

Madison directly asked Joe if he was attracted to her, and he admitted it had been a problem while they were on vacation.

She explained that she asked him what kind of women he usually dated, and he said he preferred ‘more petite women.’ Despite being a confident person, she admitted that comment briefly made her feel insecure.

Joe explained that he was clumsily trying to describe a recurring pattern in his dating history, and didn’t intend to compare or judge anyone.

Nick broke up with Annie right before their wedding, telling her he felt upset that she constantly expressed a stronger love for him than he felt for her.

Despite Nick ending things, the hairstylist didn’t accept it and pleaded with him to stay, saying, “Just stay with me and love me.”

“You can’t make one plus one equal three,” he said, prompting her to say, “Watch me.”

Nick eventually explained to Annie that he didn’t want to marry her because he was unhappy.

Dave and Lauren’s relationship struggled after arriving in Honduras. While they discovered they had friends in common, the real issue stemmed from Dave learning about Lauren having previously been intimate with someone they both knew, which made him reluctant to continue the relationship.

Plus, Dave hadn’t wanted to introduce Lauren to his friends or family. He hadn’t even told his dad about their engagement, and his sister, who would later cause a lot of problems, completely disapproved of the relationship.

Many viewers thought Monica and Joey were a perfect match and expected them to get married. But when the time came, Monica decided she wasn’t ready for marriage just yet.

She said, crying, that she was completely sure of how she felt, but it seemed like neither she nor Joey was fully ready. Joey wholeheartedly agreed.

He hugged her and reassured her, saying it was alright. He felt they clearly cared for each other, but believed they both needed to focus on personal growth. He admitted he wasn’t ready for a relationship right now, and wasn’t sure when he would be.

Despite having significant differences in beliefs and values, like religion and politics, Ben and Sara appeared to be in agreement as their wedding day approached. However, they eventually decided to call off their relationship.

Sara, who had previously told me she didn’t see a future with Ben, explained to him, “Ben, I love you very much, but I’ve always wanted a partner I truly connected with. Because of that, I can’t continue this relationship. I’m so sorry, and I don’t want you to think I’m being unclear.”

She explained that while she deeply cares for him, their core beliefs are too different for a relationship to work. Despite a strong emotional connection, she realized she couldn’t move forward because of their conflicting values.

Devin and Virginia appeared to be a compatible couple, looking forward to their future together after the pods. However, their smooth relationship hit a snag when they started discussing a prenuptial agreement.

Ultimately, more significant problems led Virginia to end her relationship with Devin and decide against marrying him.

Leaving the altar, she explained through tears that she often felt the need to shield Devin throughout their relationship. She wasn’t sure if it stemmed from her upbringing, but protecting him was always a priority. This meant avoiding certain sensitive subjects, like politics, and respecting his boundaries, even if it meant they didn’t fully explore all aspects of their connection. Ultimately, they didn’t reach a deeper level of understanding in those areas.

In the end, Daniel and Taylor were the couple who committed to a lifetime of love, promising to stay together long after the holiday season was over.

Despite a rocky start – Taylor believed Daniel had briefly unfollowed her on Instagram, suggesting he’d seen her picture – they were able to move past the issue and connect.

After sharing heartfelt vows, the couple had a lovely wedding and a joyful reception.

“We did it!” Daniel exclaimed, sitting with Taylor after their wedding. “We’re so excited to begin our life together,” Taylor added.

The art dealer, now well-known in his field, proposed to the author of Keeping Well after a complicated relationship involving Hannah Jiles. However, they eventually realized they were better suited as friends and called off their brief engagement.

Brittany and Leo realized they didn’t have a romantic connection. As they told People magazine, they discussed whether a relationship could work at the start of their time together, but as things progressed, they both felt a lack of chemistry. They were able to communicate openly and honestly, which made the realization and subsequent decision a respectful and straightforward process.

Soon after appearing on a Netflix dating show, Brittany began dating musician Mod Sun in November 2024. However, she announced their breakup in July 2025.

Monica and Stephen split up after she found explicit text messages between her fiancé and another woman while they were still on vacation in Mexico. Stephen initially apologized on the show, but later posted a message on social media after the episode was broadcast.

In an October 2024 Instagram post, he expressed regret if his presence bothered anyone, saying he was sorry if people were upset by him and wished they hadn’t had to start their day feeling that way. He added that he still cared for them regardless.

After leaving the pods, Hannah and Nick experienced their share of challenges and arguments. Hannah famously noted that she felt respected only when she contributed equally to the relationship.

Everything fell apart when Hannah ended the relationship, deciding she didn’t want to get married. Nick described the breakup as incredibly painful, saying it was one of the worst experiences of his life.

Since then, Hannah has admitted the show forced her to do some self-introspection.

She recently shared that she’s been reflecting on herself and identified areas for improvement. Appearing on the The Viall Files podcast, she explained that while she’s always been straightforward, she realizes her communication style can be a bit harsh. She’s come to understand that how you say something is just as important as what you say.

Taylor and Garrett instantly connected, feeling like a perfect match – almost as if it was fate. They did face one challenge when Taylor discovered Garrett had responded to a message from a former partner, but he quickly clarified his engagement and ended the conversation. After that, their relationship blossomed, becoming a memorable love story from the show Love Is Blind.

The pair were still married at the Love Is Blind reunion in October 2024.

You’re not mistaken! Marissa and Ramses were initially considered strong contenders to succeed on the show, but Ramses ultimately decided to cancel their wedding because he had doubts.

After a serious conversation, Marissa happily told her fiancé, “I see a wonderful future with you, and I want to marry you.” He replied, simply, “I know falling in love always carries a risk.”

He pointed out that their disagreements—like their differing views on the military—might be too significant to overcome. He explained that, from his own experience and what he’s learned from others, love isn’t always enough for a marriage to succeed. Other factors need to be compatible as well.

Marissa tried to stay strong, but once she realized the relationship was definitely over, she started crying. She told him, “I wish you hadn’t come here,” expressing her confusion and hurt. “I was so certain about us, and you weren’t? It’s awful. I really wanted you to choose me.” She also said that this was the worst day of her life.

Tyler and Ashley quickly won over viewers with their seemingly effortless romance. However, their relationship faced a challenge when Tyler revealed he had three children, a disclosure Ashley controversially called referring to them as “sperm donor babies.” Online, people are debating the level of Tyler’s involvement as a father, but he hasn’t publicly commented on the discussion.

You won’t believe the journey Ashley and Tyler took! By the time we caught up with them at the October 2024 reunion, they’d not only patched things up, but they actually fell in love and got married! It’s one of those stories that really warms my heart – proving that second chances do happen.

Tyler and Ashley, newly married, shared that meeting two months ago completely transformed their lives. ‘Now,’ Tyler said, sitting with his wife, ‘we get to spend forever together.’

However, Ashley later shared that the pair had called it quits following over one year of marriage.

In a statement released in January 2025, she announced that she and Tyler have separated and are divorcing. She explained that after a lot of thought, they realized they were growing apart and couldn’t continue their marriage, despite hoping they could resolve their differences openly and honestly.

Alex and Tim appeared to resolve their big disagreement during their trip to Mexico, and their relationship seemed stronger than ever when they returned to Washington, D.C. Things got even better when Tim had a heartfelt conversation with Alex’s father, which suggested a promising future for them.

After Alex met Tim’s family, they had another fight, and Tim broke off their engagement, telling Alex he never wanted to see her again. Since then, both Alex and Tim have publicly shared their sides of the story, with Alex clarifying that the breakup wasn’t a joint decision.

Chelsea and Jimmy seemed to resolve their conflicts before their wedding during a fun date at an amusement park, following a season of occasional arguments.

Jimmy ended his engagement with Chelsea, leaving her shocked and in tears, as he felt it was time for their relationship to end.

Jimmy confessed to Chelsea during their date, ‘I’m deeply in love with you and really want a relationship, but I absolutely don’t want to get married. It’s just not something I can do.’

He said they were simplifying a complex situation, which stemmed from several deeply upsetting issues. One of those issues was Chelsea revealing a private secret about Jimmy’s past relationship with a friend.

It broke my heart to watch Chelsea leave. After what felt like endless arguments about their past relationships, she just…left, completely heartbroken. She actually said, through tears, that she really had hope for them, and it was just devastating to see.

The pair were both single during the March 2024 reunion.

Clay was reluctant to get married because of his father’s past infidelity, but AD comforted him, assuring him they could overcome any challenges together, and things seemed good between them.

When it came time to get married, Clay unexpectedly said he didn’t want to go through with it. He told AD that getting married wouldn’t be a responsible decision since he wasn’t prepared for it.

Cue the shock.

He told AD he would do the necessary work to figure things out, and they would face it together. He emphasized that he wasn’t ready for marriage, and she deserved someone who was. He explained he wouldn’t commit until he could give her his all, and he couldn’t say yes to her proposal at that moment.

The discovery deeply upset AD, causing her to break down in tears and angrily state that the relationship had been a complete waste of her time.

Clay explained that both financial and emotional connections contributed to his decision to leave. He honestly admitted, “I had to ask myself if I was still a husband, and the answer was no. I also realized I wasn’t truly in love anymore.”

At the reunion, Clay admitted he regretted not dating AD and wished he could now, but AD didn’t reveal whether she’d be open to trying again.

AD admitted she went on a few dates with her colleague, Matthew Duliba, after they finished filming, but they are no longer dating.

She announced in May 2025 she’s expecting her first baby with fiancé Ollie Sutherland.

Amy and Johnny were the only couple from season six to get married, and their wedding was beautiful! What made it even more special was how well their families blended together. Amy’s father even shared that he now feels like he has several daughters, including Johnny’s sister.

As for Johnny, he too declared at his reception that his father-in-law was his “new dad.”

They are still married.

Brittany and Kenneth’s relationship began passionately, but it didn’t last once everyday life resumed.

Brittany explained to Life & Style that things changed once she and her partner returned to Charlotte. She felt they had a very strong connection while in the pods, but that passion faded a little when they went back to their everyday lives.

Brittany and her former fiancé have stayed friends. At a recent get-together, she explained that even though their romantic relationship ended, they share a connection that will last forever.

Laura and Jeramey broke up after Laura found out Jeramey had spent time with another person from their reality show, Sarah Ann Bick, while they were out one night. Following a heated argument, Laura ended the relationship.

But instead of that, he went off to ride jet skis with Sarah Ann.

At the March 2024 reunion, Jeramey shared that he and Sarah Ann had been casually dating for about a year, starting right after the show finished filming. However, they are no longer together.

Laura is dating someone else, who she did not identify at the reunion.

Despite overcoming challenges like Izzy’s initial connection with Johnie Maraist and Stacy’s desire for a certain standard of living (she didn’t want to use paper plates!), Stacy ultimately decided not to marry Izzy because he wasn’t truthful about his financial history.

Even though the wedding didn’t happen, Stacy still wanted to stay with Izzy, who was very upset.

“We’re at different spots,” he told her. “It really breaks my heart.”

Stacy appreciated Izzy helping her become more open with her feelings, but she wasn’t sure about a long-term future together. She said she needed to be completely certain before committing to a lifetime with someone, and she wasn’t there yet.

Izzy is now dating surgical assistant Shelby Webb.
