1 Year Later, Netflix’s Delicious in Dungeon Finally Returns This July With a Major U.S. Debut

Fans in Los Angeles can look forward to two exciting exhibitions this July: one featuring Ryoko Kui and another dedicated to the popular manga and anime Delicious in Dungeon. Organized by Kadokawa World Entertainment, the exhibits will be held at L.A. Art Share from July 2nd to July 26th, and will kick off during Anime Expo.

The exhibition first opened in Tokyo in 2024, then traveled across Japan before coming to the United States. It premiered in New York City from October 10th to 26th of last year.

I’m excited to see that the event will feature reproductions of artwork by Ryoko Kui! They’ll be displaying pieces from her various works, including familiar titles like The Dragon’s School Is on Top of the Mountain, Seven Little Sons of the Dragon, and Terrarium in Drawer.

The event will also showcase how these games were made, featuring behind-the-scenes content like early concept art, an in-depth interview with the creator, and videos showing the artwork being created.

Guests can take pictures with detailed displays of monsters, items, and food inspired by the show. The event will also feature official merchandise shipped directly from Japan.

Tickets to the exhibition cost $20. We also offer special bundles that include a unique collector’s item you can only get by attending the exhibition.

From July 2nd to 5th, Anime Expo tickets will be for specific one-hour entry times. After that, from July 6th to 26th, tickets will be good for the entire day, allowing entry anytime during operating hours on the date you choose.

Ryoko Kui’s manga series, Delicious in Dungeon, ran in Harta magazine from February 2014 to September 2023. In January 2024, Studio Trigger turned it into a popular anime series that debuted on Netflix worldwide.

The anime received high praise for its detailed world and compelling story. The manga has been widely recognized with numerous awards, including the Harvey Award for Best Manga in 2024, both during its publication and afterward.

I’m totally hooked on Delicious in Dungeon! It’s about this adventurer, Laios, and his group who run into a seriously tough Red Dragon in a dungeon. Sadly, the dragon eats Laios’s sister, Falin! So, naturally, Laios, along with his friends Marcille and Chilchuck, bravely head back into the dungeon to try and save her before it’s too late – before she’s, well, completely digested! It’s a wild ride!

With no money or supplies, the group finds themselves in a desperate situation. They team up with a dwarf named Senshi and must hunt, cook, and eat the monsters within the dungeon to survive.
