The game’s levels evolve into classic Hitman-style missions called Escalations. These missions add challenges and twists, changing how you approach each level after you’re inserted.

Each Escalation has several difficulty levels, and they get harder as you advance.

Tac Sim also features Operations – freeform missions where you have more flexibility to experiment with your Q-Watch, gadgets, and practice deceiving opponents however you choose.

These Operations have a few challenges attached that are quite simple.

As you gain experience points (XP) and finish Tac Sim missions, you’ll level up. Leveling up unlocks better items in the shop, which will help you succeed in future Tac Sim missions. You can also spend your earnings on new outfits and customization options for Bond.

How to unlock replayable missions in 007 First Light explained

Okay, so I figured out how to unlock the Tac Sim in 007 First Light! You have to finish the very first level, “Against All Odds.” Once you do that, you’ll get your Q-watch and have a chat with Selina Tan. Then, after you finish the training section in the story, you can go back and actually start playing around with the Tac Sim to see what it’s all about. It’s pretty cool!
