Following some game removals and server closures in March and April, things are looking much calmer on the PlayStation Store in June 2026.
Naturally, there are usually a few things you should keep in mind.
Here’s the upcoming schedule of potential disruption you should know about:
- Pinball FX (PS4): 1st June (Support Ending)
- Pinball M (PS4): 1st June (Support Ending)
- Horizon Chase Turbo (PS4): 1st June (Delisted)
- Call of Duty Warzone (PS4): 4th June (Delisted); 25th June (In-Game Store Removed); November (Online Services Ending)
- Battlefield Hardline (PS4): 22nd June (Online Services Ending)
As a long-time Call of Duty fan, it’s a little sad to see Warzone getting delisted. It really feels like the end of an era for the PS4, especially since that console has been around for about 13 years now! It’s just a sign that things are changing, I guess.
But before that is a quite complicated situation with Pinball FX.
So, good news and bad news for us PS4 players. The core game and Pinball M – which is now called Pinball FX Midnight – will still be available on the PlayStation Store. But, unfortunately, Zen is stopping new content and updates for those versions on June 1st. Basically, what you see is what you get after that date.
After recent layoffs at Epic Games, Horizon Chase Turbo will no longer be available for purchase on the PlayStation Store starting June 1st. This also includes any downloadable content, such as the Senna Forever pack. If you already own the game, it will still be accessible in your digital library, and Horizon Chase 2 will remain available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Battlefield Hardline will no longer be playable on PlayStation. The PS4 version, which was removed from the PlayStation Store in May, will be fully taken offline on June 22nd. The PS3 version is already unavailable.
The biggest change is that Call of Duty: Warzone will no longer be available on PS4 starting June 4th. This only impacts players on the older PlayStation console. If you already have the game downloaded, you’ll still be able to play it for a few more months, roughly until November.
Activision, the publisher, hasn’t announced an exact date, but they plan to shut down online services for the game when Season 1 of the new Modern Warfare 4 begins.
The new game releases on October 23rd. Considering it took around three weeks for the last game, Black Ops 7, to launch its first season, we can expect the new game’s first season to begin around November.
Just a heads-up for my fellow Warzone players on PlayStation 4: the in-game store is going away on June 25th. Don’t worry though, you’ll still be able to earn rewards and level up your Battle Pass just like always! It’s a little sad to see the store go, but at least the core gameplay isn’t affected.
That covers everything for now. We’ll keep you updated if any more items are removed from sale.
