Noah Cyrus and Franklin Jonas are making sure they’ll always remember their friendship.

Miley Cyrus’s younger sister and the little brother of the Jonas Brothers—Kevin, Joe, and Nick—recently showed off matching tattoos. The tattoos feature characters from the 2008 animated film Ponyo, which they all worked on together as children, to commemorate that experience.

Noah and Franklin, the actors who voiced Ponyo and Sosuke in the Studio Ghibli film, recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at their enjoyable recording session together on Instagram, posting about it on May 29th.

A carousel of black-and-white photos showed friends Noah, 26, and Franklin, 25, getting tattoos together. Artist Zander Morales did the work in a backyard setting by the pool. Both were beaming as they revealed their new tattoos – a charming drawing of Ponyo and Sosuke touching noses.

Okay, so you will NOT believe this! Noah basically screamed her feelings for Franklin in her latest post! She quoted a line from Ponyo – seriously, Ponyo! – and wrote “I love you, Sosuke” in Japanese! Can you even?! It’s so subtle but if you know the movie, it’s EVERYTHING. And of course, she added a bunch of little ocean emojis, because, you know, Ponyo! I’m losing it, it’s the cutest thing ever and they are SO meant to be!

Noah and Franklin shared a sweet post and also showed off their matching tattoos in a closer view on their Instagram Stories.

Fans were thrilled! Many people online expressed their excitement about the singer of “Again” and the artist from “Hoboken” officially becoming friends.

One commenter expressed surprise and delight at seeing Noah Cyrus and Franklin Jonas together, while another playfully referred to them as ‘Disney Legend siblings’.

I remember when Noah and Franklin were just adorable little kids – they were in Ponyo when they were only eight! Growing up, they were always around their older, famous siblings, and I even remember seeing them when the Jonas Brothers opened for Miley Cyrus on her Best of Both Worlds tour back in 2008. It was so cool to see such young talent supporting their family!

She basically admitted she was totally head-over-heels for Frankie! She said she was SO in love with him during the Ponyo days and especially when they were on tour with their siblings – she said it was on! Like, seriously ON! I’m losing it, they’re meant to be!
