Just as people were expecting fewer updates for Crimson Desert, Pearl Abyss has revealed a preview of what’s coming between June and September. And there’s more good news: downloadable content (DLC) is officially being created. While details are still scarce, the developers say they’re working hard on it and promise it will significantly enhance the game experience.
We’re addressing a major concern players had with the original game: the story. We’ve listened to your feedback and are working to make Kliff’s journey more compelling and easier to follow by polishing and improving important scenes.
The update aims to offer a fresh experience, even for returning players. Key improvements include changes to sieges – with better rewards for liberating areas and new defenses to help factions hold territory. Pearl Abyss is also introducing a new progression stage to create a smoother transition between different phases of gameplay.
As a big fan of fighting games, I’m really excited to finally get a chance to truly test my skills as Greymane! It sounds like they’re also making Damiane and Oongka even better to play, and they’ve promised adjustments for all the characters down the line, which is awesome. Plus, they’re adding cross-save, so I can play on different devices, and making things like trading and farming way smoother – basically, improving everything outside of the battles too!
Pearl Abyss notes that the features described are still under development and subject to change when the update launches. That being said, they’ve consistently delivered on their promises, often surpassing expectations.
