Rumors are starting to surface about Summer Game Fest, hinting at both major companies that will be present and some exciting reveals. Beyond the expected announcements, it looks like we might also see completely new games unveiled, including a currently unannounced Hot Wheels title developed by Milestone.
A new Hot Wheels game, reportedly called Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, is expected to launch on September 24th, according to sources at Dealabs. The game is said to cost $49.99 on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Like the previous game, Unleashed 2, it will likely have downloadable content and extra cars available for purchase.
While not officially announced, there’s a good chance it will appear at Summer Game Fest. The event starts today at 2 PM Pacific Time and is scheduled to last about two hours.
Several other exciting games are anticipated, including the long-awaited third installment of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which may finally be revealed by name. Star Wars Zero Company is reportedly launching on PC on August 27th, priced at $49.99 for the standard edition. NetEase Games’ Blood Message will also be showcased, and with so much speculation surrounding Sega, many expect to see announcements regarding either a new Jet Set Radio or Persona 6.
Will we finally see Grand Theft Auto 6, maybe even a new trailer? With Rockstar Games potentially starting its marketing campaign later this month, it’s a real possibility. We’ll have to wait and see, so keep checking for updates.
