For those who love challenging platformers, N++ is considered a standout title on the PlayStation 4. Now, the game’s creator, Metanet Software, is excited to announce what they’ve been working on next.
The next game from the studio is called N Plus Infinity Times Two, and it’s coming to PS5 in 2027:
Like other games in the N series, this one is a fast-paced 2D platformer known for its incredibly smooth controls and movement.
Unlike previous versions, N Plus Infinity Times Two emphasizes multiplayer gameplay, though it doesn’t exclude other options.
The studio has completely rebuilt the game, focusing on a fun, social experience with both cooperative and competitive multiplayer options – essentially creating the perfect virtual party with friends.
The game will feature a single-player story, but the focus is on playing with friends. You can team up with people you know, either online or locally, or easily find partners to play with.
N Plus Infinity Times Two will feature five different ways to play with others, all focused on getting to the end of each level. However, unique challenges will make reaching the exit more complicated than it sounds.
The new game isn’t coming out soon, but from what I’ve seen, it’s going to be excellent. Metanet’s stick-figure platformers are unique – nothing else feels quite like them – and I’m excited another one is in development.
