I’ve been really wanting a return to those fast-paced, exciting arcade racers from the past, and Star Wars Galactic Racer looks like it might just deliver that experience.
This new trailer is out, and it really reminds me of the Burnout series, even with all the Star Wars elements!
This trailer really highlights the game’s story, but first, it’s amazing to see a fast-paced, track-based racing game with dramatic crashes in 2026! It feels like a fantastic mix of Burnout and WipEout, set in the Star Wars universe, and I’m really excited about it.
Here’s the setup: Kestar Bool is the powerful villain who controls the Galactic League. You play as Shade, a new and enigmatic competitor recruited by the league’s creator to stop him.
The story follows Shade, who’s determined to defeat the current champion – a corrupt titleholder – with the aid of the talented engineer Hibi and a famous podracer, according to the description.
Honestly, I’m not that interested in the story, but the gameplay looks really enjoyable.
