IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios have shared promising sales figures for the recently released James Bond game, 007 First Light, which has been very well-received by players.
The game has already sold over 2.7 million copies in its first week, the developers announced. This information was also widely shared on social media.
We are incredibly grateful for your support and so thankful to have you with us on this journey.
The game got off to a fantastic start, selling 1.5 million copies on its first day, and that strong performance has continued throughout its first week.
What’s really exciting is that there’s much more to come for the game. Not only is a version for the next Nintendo Switch already in development, but the developers plan to add a significant amount of new content and updates after release, keeping players engaged long after they’ve finished the main story.
The action adventure is a big hit, but Amazon’s unclear comments about future installments are causing concern. While Amazon will now be the publisher, fans are worried that the game’s developer, IOI, might not be involved in creating any sequels, despite doing an excellent job on the first game.
That’s probably not true. I’m confident IOI will continue developing James Bond games, as they’re clearly a great fit for creating both compelling stories and long-lasting, engaging gameplay.
007 First Light is a huge success! Have you tried it? Let us know what you think in the comments!
