Players who enjoyed last year’s sci-fi horror game, Cronos: The New Dawn – which we called “impeccable” in our review – will be happy to hear that a new story expansion is coming out later this year.
The new DLC, titled Lazarus, lets you play as the Warden with a quicker, more action-packed combat style. You’ll be tasked with a mission that the Collective must never find out about.
The press release reveals more:
Cronos: Lazarus introduces a faster, more action-packed style of gameplay. Unlike the original Cronos: The New Dawn, which emphasized careful planning and strategic combat, this expansion lets you play as a powerful operative within the Collective, embracing a more direct and forceful approach.
The Warden has endured a harsh life in the wasteland, leaving him scarred and weakened. However, even damaged, he remains quick, powerful, and resilient under duress.
So, the latest news says the Warden is a tough boss, but they’re bringing in someone built just to take him down. And get this – our fights aren’t going to be small! They’re promising these huge, epic battles that are really going to push my skills to the limit. I’m already hyped!
That sounds great! Bloober Team consistently delivers excellent horror experiences. While the price hasn’t been announced yet, the DLC is expected to release in Fall 2026.
