Fans of Castlevania will be able to enjoy a new game just before the holidays! Konami has announced that Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will be released on October 15th.
First revealed at Sony’s State of Play event in February, this game is the newest installment in Konami’s long-running series since 2014, and early impressions suggest it was worth the wait.
The trailer features impressive artwork by illustrator Katsuya Terada, along with fast-paced 2D gameplay. The game is being developed by Evil Empire, the team behind Dead Cells.
There are a lot of Metroidvania games now, but this one is a classic – it actually helped create the genre, and that’s why it’s called what it is! I’ll definitely never skip playing it.
