Attack on Titan Confirms an Exciting Project With a New Trailer

Attack on Titan is a highly praised series created by Hajime Isayama. The anime, produced by WIT Studio, first became incredibly popular in 2013. WIT Studio animated the first three seasons but ultimately handed the project over to MAPPA due to difficulties meeting deadlines after the manga concluded. MAPPA continued the series, delivering a fantastic adaptation with high-quality animation, covering everything that happened after the four-year time jump. Season 4 included all remaining story content, released through both standard episodes and special installments to provide a complete ending.

Even though the main story of Attack on Titan is over, it keeps popping up with things like movies, new products, and cool partnerships. Just recently, they announced a new video game, and Koei Tecmo America released a 90-second trailer to get everyone excited. The game has already gotten some big updates, but the official website says we’ll get even more details on July 1st, 2026.

Attack on Titan‘s Latest Game Will Share New Information in July

Developed by Koei Tecmo America and Omega Force, this game first launched in 2016 and received a sequel in 2018. Staying true to the original manga’s storyline, this new release will cover the entire story for the first time since the manga concluded. A third installment is now confirmed and will be available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, according to Koei Tecmo’s official website.

The game will also support Japanese audio and offer text in several languages, including Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. We expect to learn the release date and more details next month.

MAPPA Will Share New Updates on Attack on Titan

The anime is planning something big for June 19th, 2026, as part of the celebration for MAPPA’s 15th anniversary. The series recently announced exciting news on its official X account, so fans should save the date! The event will feature director Hayashi Yūichirō and Yui Ishikawa, who voices Mikasa Ackerman.

The animation studio’s official YouTube channel will host a live discussion with the creators about how the anime was made. Although the event won’t officially announce a continuation of the series, it promises to reveal interesting details about its production. This event is a part of MAPPA’s 15th anniversary celebration, first announced back in March.

Founded in 2011, MAPPA has quickly become a leading animation studio with popular series like Yuri!!! on Ice, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Attack on Titan.
