As a huge Halo fan, I can’t believe it – this is the first time ever a Halo game is coming to PlayStation! It’s a pretty big deal, honestly.
During a livestream in October 2025 announcing the game, the Halo community director shared that all upcoming Halo titles will also be released on PlayStation consoles.
With the recent news that Gears of War will be exclusive to Xbox consoles again, it’s unclear if our previous plans will still happen.

Halo: Campaign Evolved will have multiplayer, although perhaps not in the way you are thinking.
The game will not feature an online competitive multiplayer mode, like the original game did.
