5 Coronation Street spoilers for next week
1. Gun terror for Kevin, Carl, Tyrone and Ronnie at Webster’s Autocentre

Kevin Webster was stunned to find evidence of foul play while looking at a video on Tyrone Dobbs’ phone. He’d been watching a clip of his daughter, Ruby, when he accidentally came across footage showing Carl deliberately damaging the brakes on Kevin’s car.
He was extremely angry and immediately confronted Carl, letting him know he knew the truth. A heated argument quickly followed, and Tyrone and Ronnie Bailey rushed to intervene, only for Kevin to realize they already knew what Carl had done.
Ronnie wants everyone to move on and not dwell on the problem, especially for Debbie Webster’s well-being. However, Kevin isn’t willing to talk things through. Instead, he picks up a wrench and goes after Carl.

But then, he unexpectedly pulls out a mysterious package he got from Fiona Morley (Sara Poyzer) and reveals a gun inside.
At the Chariot Square Hotel, Debbie is with Sally Metcalfe, Bernie Winter-Alahan, Glenda Shuttleworth, and Christina Boyd. She keeps trying to reach Ronnie, but doesn’t realize Christina is blocking the calls. Glenda is encouraging everyone to put their phones away and have fun.
Inside the garage, the mood became more and more strained as Ronnie demanded everyone stay and work things out. Kevin, convinced the gun wasn’t real, grabbed it and aimed it at Carl.

Ronnie was shocked and rushed forward to intervene, but the gun unexpectedly went off. Everyone was stunned, left wondering if anyone had been hurt.
Fiona confronts Carl, giving him one week to follow her instructions or suffer the repercussions. Debbie witnesses the tense conversation and presses Carl for an explanation, worried about whatever trouble he’s caused for the family.
It’s been really tough watching her since the shooting. She just can’t seem to get past what happened, and keeps having terrible nightmares where she’s right back in that garage. Things got even worse when she had a disagreement with Tracy Barlow about a flower order, and Tracy was awful, even suggesting her confusion was due to dementia. It’s heartbreaking to see her so stressed and upset.

The situation escalates when Debbie unintentionally reveals a baby’s gender – she saw the information on a balloon order while preparing for the hotel’s reveal party. Shortly after, a balloon pops, and Debbie, thinking it was a gunshot, becomes extremely panicked.
2. Maria Connor’s suspicions could upend both her own relationship, and Sarah Platt’s

Maria tells her friends, Fiz and Izzy, that she believes Gary is cheating with Sarah. The gossip spreads when Todd warns Sarah that Maria suspects them of having an affair.
Faced with growing scrutiny, Sarah is left wondering whether it’s time to tell the truth.
Kit Green tells Bethany Platt he’s thinking about proposing to her mum. At the same time, Kit is becoming closer to Harry Platt, who tells him he likes having him around.
Touched by the confession, he assures him that the feeling is mutual.

Maria tells Gary they need to talk about something important. Trying to seem calm, Gary suggests they get together later and grab some curry.
Gary attempts to look forward and unexpectedly announces he’s booked a family vacation. Jake Windass, Liam Connor, and Izzy are thrilled, but Maria is skeptical, confiding in Izzy that she believes the trip is just Gary trying to make up for his infidelity.
Kit lovingly looks at the engagement ring he picked out for Sarah, completely oblivious to the drama unfolding around him.
3. Brody Michaelis is targeted by a gang of older lads

Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) won’t serve Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne), and Betsy drinks at the Rovers because he knows Brody is too young. They don’t give up, though, and go to the police station instead.
Their excitement was short-lived, as an older group soon approached and demanded the drinks they’d just purchased.
Brody quickly told Dylan and Betsy to escape while he ran the other way, leading the group away from them. Luckily, Debbie, Sally, Bernie, Glenda, and Christina unexpectedly appeared and intervened, chasing the troublemakers away.

Dev Alahan and Tim Metcalfe are starting to worry. They haven’t heard from their wives and aren’t getting any response to their texts, so they’re afraid something bad has happened.
4. Nick Tilsley reaches breaking point with Ben Driscoll

Ben and Nick connect at the beginning of the week by sharing the difficulties they’ve experienced as fathers. But the conversation deeply upsets Nick when he understands the extent of his son Sam’s (Jude Riordan) hidden struggles.
I was shocked when Nick just exploded at Ben, blaming him for not figuring out Megan Walsh’s terrible crimes earlier. He was really upset, saying Sam suffered because of Ben’s delay. It was a really intense moment, and it felt like Nick was completely consumed by rage.
Sam later asks his dad if he can go see Roy Cropper (David Neilson), explaining how much it would mean to him.
5. Betsy Swain prepares to leave Weatherfield

Betsy tells her friend Lauren Bolton (played by Cait Fitton) some exciting news: she’s been accepted to the London College of Fashion.
She’s thrilled about the opportunity, but it’s a tough decision. She’s concerned about how it might affect her relationship with Dylan, and she hasn’t been able to bring herself to tell her mother yet.
Carla Connor-Swain (Alison King) is delighted when she learns the news and urges her to go for it. However, Lisa (Vicky Myers) doesn’t seem as enthusiastic, and Betsy is left unsure if she’ll get the backing she needs.
