4 Emmerdale spoilers for next week: Multiple Dingle health bombshells as Charity suffers breakdown

I’m really glad Emmerdale is tackling prostate cancer again. It’s going to be interesting to see how Cain Dingle reacts during Kyle’s cadets ceremony – apparently, it’s making him rethink what it means to be a man, and it sounds like it’ll be a powerful storyline. It’s great that the show is raising awareness about something so important.

The young man really wants to reconnect with his father, but it makes him sad to see his father’s seat empty at the event.

Later in the week, Cain discovers whether his radical prostatectomy operation has been successful.

Charity Dingle is keeping a secret about a sexual assault, while Jai Sharma grows wary of Kerry Pollard and their son, Archie. Meanwhile, Lewis Barton finds himself in a dangerous predicament.

Here’s everything happening in Emmerdale between Monday 15 and Friday 19 June.

4 Emmerdale spoilers for next week

1. Jai Sharma confronts Kerry Pollard and Archie Breckle about their scam

Kerry and Archie try to trick Caleb Miligan again with their ‘AI Steph’ scheme, but Pollard catches them in the act. He’s angry about their deception and confronts them, making Kerry feel very guilty.

I was so upset to learn that Caleb finally figured out he’d been tricked out of that £5,000 he sent to someone pretending to be Steph. He was really embarrassed about falling for it, but now he’s completely focused on finding the person who did this to him.

Ruby Miligan noticed the scammer had surprisingly specific information about Laurel Thomas and Ross Barton, leading Caleb to suspect the person responsible is someone they know. Determined to get justice, Caleb decides to report the crime to the police.

Honestly, the tension was killing me! Kerry was in a real panic, desperate to stop Pollard from blowing the whistle on the scam. He tried reasoning with him, even bringing up Pollard’s own past mistakes and begging him to just forget about it. Thankfully, Pollard agreed to stay quiet, but only after making Archie scrub the laptop clean of any evidence. It was a seriously nail-biting moment, wondering if they’d get away with it!

The next day, Ruby noticed Kerry’s fake handbag, and worried Kerry was beginning to suspect something was wrong.

Meanwhile, Caleb is focusing his anger into a new project. He’s decided to be more aggressive again and announces he’s starting a business selling fake products, believing the depot would be an ideal location for it.

Billy Fletcher is surprised when his boss offers him a share of the profits. At first, he’s hesitant, but the idea starts to appeal to him. Caleb quickly pushes him further, persuading Billy to collect money as part of the scheme in return for eight percent of the earnings.

Now that Caleb’s started a secret, and likely illegal, venture, he’s told Billy to not mention anything to Jai. Caleb seems excited to be back to doing things the wrong way.

When Caleb later shared Ruby’s suspicion that the person responsible was someone they both knew, Jai grew more and more worried, especially as Archie’s name kept coming up in connection with the case.

Jai, wanting to know the truth, directly confronted Kerry and accused her and Archie of being part of what happened.

2. Charity Dingle blames her stress on postnatal depression

Manpreet Sharma is worried about Charity and tries to find out what’s bothering her.

Caroline Harker hides the fact that Dr. Todd sexually assaulted her by pretending to have postnatal depression. Manpreet believes her and prescribes medication, unintentionally leaving Caroline stuck in a worsening web of lies.

The situation gets trickier when Charity’s husband, Mack, comes back. She’s angry to find out he’s talked to Sarah about her problems, and afterwards, she tries to cope with her feelings by turning to sleeping pills and wine.

The following day, Sarah felt terrible with guilt. She worried that being a surrogate for Charity had somehow caused her grandmother to become depressed, and she desperately wanted to figure out what was going on.

When Charity suggests there’s more to what happened, Sarah hopes she’ll finally learn the full story. However, Charity struggles to be honest and attributes her feelings to being tired and experiencing postpartum depression instead.

Afterward, a heartbroken Sarah falls apart while talking to Mack, believing the surrogacy has caused all of Charity’s suffering.

3. Cain Dingle receives some devastating news about his cancer diagnosis

Cain starts his week by telling Kyle how proud he is, which makes Kyle really happy. Kyle is especially excited when Cain promises to be at his cadet swearing-in ceremony, and they both look forward to celebrating this important moment together.

As the ceremony began, Kyle’s initial excitement faded when he noticed Cain’s seat was empty across the village.

Following an accident, he quickly ran inside The Woolpack and hid in a toilet stall, deeply embarrassed by the noticeable wet spot on his pants.

Charles Anderson (played by Kevin Mathurin) quickly realizes what’s happened and discreetly brings a fresh pair of pants, sliding them under the cubicle door. Cain, despite being mortified, gratefully accepts the assistance.

Still embarrassed about his accident, Cain is comforted by Charles and Bob Hope (played by Tony Audenshaw), who assure him they’ll keep it private and urge him not to let it bother him too much. Feeling a bit braver, he returns to the ceremony and apologizes to Kyle for being late to the swearing-in.

Kyle was just happy to see his dad and quickly reassured him that everything was okay and there was no need to feel ashamed.

Cain later confides in his wife, Moira Dingle, about his increasing anxieties. He reveals he’s finding it hard to deal with his health issues, which are making him feel less masculine. Moira strongly encourages him, reminding him that it takes courage to overcome challenges and urging him not to forget that strength within himself.

I was at the hospital yesterday, and the consultant gave us some tough news. The surgery to remove Cain’s prostate, the radical prostatectomy, actually went really well. But, unfortunately, some follow-up tests are indicating the cancer might have spread just a little bit. It’s definitely worrying, but we’re trying to stay positive and understand what the next steps are.

Cain and Moira are heartbroken by the news. Things become even harder when he finds out he needs more medical care, but he’ll have to wait several months for it to start while he recovers from his operation.

There’s a chance the radiation treatment could cause some of his current health problems to last forever. Wanting to protect their sons from more stress, Cain and Moira decide not to share this information with them.

4. Lewis Barton is hauled into the back of a van by masked men

Vinny Dingle, played by Bradley Johnson, unexpectedly books a trip to Madeira for himself and Lewis, hoping the last-minute vacation will lift their spirits.

Lewis initially attempts to get on board with the plan, but his worries quickly become too much to handle. Feeling overwhelmed by how quickly things were moving, he ultimately decides to cancel his participation.

Lewis really wants Vinny to go on vacation, but feels conflicted when Vinny leaves without him. A helpful chat with Ross quickly turns things around. Ross motivates him to be brave and seize the opportunity, and he suddenly realizes he doesn’t want to miss out on the fun.

He was determined to fix things, so he quickly grabbed his suitcase and ran after Vinny, hoping to stop him before his flight took off.

Just as Lewis was leaving in a taxi, a van suddenly stopped and he was forcibly pulled inside, according to photos of the incident.
