Sakura Shines in Naruto’s Beautiful New Summer Reveal

“The summer sea breeze brushes through her hair with each step, and a spike echoes across the height of summer,” the official description for Sakura’s new look reads, via Naruto Mobile. “The brand-new summer ninja, Sakura Haruno (Beach Volleyball), is coming soon — let’s kick off a heart-racing summer together! For a decade, Naruto Mobile has let fans both old and new enjoy their favorite moments from the classic Shonen Jump series and create fresh ones through engaging gameplay. Recently, the game brought the beloved ninja back together in a touching cinematic episode that celebrated the special bond between a teacher and student.

Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage from the Hidden Leaf Village, is making a strong entrance into the game, living up to her reputation. This free-to-play mobile game has also been highlighting important but often overlooked characters from the Naruto series, like Izuna Uchiha, Madara Uchiha’s brother.

With Naruto Mobile celebrating its 10th anniversary and continuing to thrive, fans have even more to look forward to. According to TV Tokyo, new anime, games, and other content are planned for both the Naruto and Boruto series.

With the 25th anniversary of Naruto coming up next year, fans are hoping the special episodes celebrating its 20th anniversary will be released soon. Studio Pierrot, the animation studio behind both Naruto and Boruto since 2002, is expected to announce something this summer.

The official Naruto YouTube channel just released a recap of the first part of Boruto, which originally aired as the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime in 2017. This new video, titled “Boruto: Road to Two Blue Vortex,” is leading many fans to think it hints at a future storyline that’s been developing in V Jump magazine since October 2023.
