
The newest celebrity joining the cast of Strictly Come Dancing is Australian singer and songwriter Delta Goodrem.
The popular and highly decorated performer is joining the next season—the 24th!—of the BBC’s dance contest, competing for the coveted Glitterball Trophy. The announcement was made on Friday, June 12th, through Strictly’s official social media pages.
Natalie Imbruglia expressed her excitement about joining the show, saying she’s performed on many stages throughout her career – including television, theatre, and during her world tours – but she’s never danced on a ballroom floor before!
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Strictly and can’t wait to get started!”

Natalie Imbruglia first became well-known with her incredibly successful first album, ‘Innocent Eyes,’ which included several popular songs. She’s also become a regular on television as a coach on ‘The Voice Australia’.
She also performed at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, giving Australia one of its strongest finishes to date.
Natalie Imbruglia first gained widespread recognition for her acting role as Nina Tucker on the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours in the early 2000s, which helped make her internationally known. More recently, she’s also appeared in films like the Netflix holiday movie Christmas on the Square.
Natalie Goodrem is the latest celebrity to join the upcoming season of Strictly Come Dancing, following the announcement that EastEnders actress Lacey Turner will also be competing in 2026. The new season is already generating a lot of buzz.
Strictly Come Dancing has announced a familiar face for its 2026 season – a celebrity who had to leave the show in the past will be giving it another try!
Strictly Come Dancing is getting a new hosting team! Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe will now lead the Saturday night shows, taking over from longtime presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
The cast will also include professional dancers Dianne Buswell, Amy Dowden, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Aljaž Škorjanec, Jowita Przystał, Johannes Radebe, Nancy Xu, Kai Widdrington, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Vito Coppola, Alexis Warr, and Julian Caillon.
