The finale of The Boys might reveal Homelander as a fundamentally weak person who relies on his powers, but for five seasons, Antony Starr portrays him as a terrifying enemy. Before the end of Season 5, Homelander is easily the strongest super-powered individual in the entire series. While his incredible strength and resilience are major factors, it’s his ability to fly and use heat vision that truly set him apart from almost everyone else.

Removing Homelander from The Boys and placing him in a different fictional world would definitely alter his impact. Anime fans, however, likely wouldn’t be very impressed – they’re used to seeing much more powerful characters in popular anime series like shonen. These heroes, along with their teachers and teammates, would easily defeat Homelander, though the difficulty of the fight would vary.

Considering how much stronger Jinwoo has become in Solo Leveling, he’d easily defeat Homelander. His Shadow Army alone could overwhelm Homelander, or at least weaken him enough for a quick finish. Homelander wouldn’t stand much of a chance, as Jinwoo is incredibly durable and wouldn’t be intimidated by attacks like heat vision. Compared to the characters in Solo Leveling, Homelander isn’t that strong, making this a clear win for Jinwoo. A fight between Homelander and Luffy would be more challenging to predict, though Luffy’s Gear 5 transformation might give him the edge.

Luffy from One Piece could defeat Homelander even without using his Gear 5 transformation, though Gear 5 would make the fight much easier. Once Gojo establishes that Homelander can’t land an attack, he could easily defeat him. Gojo is simply a more skilled fighter, and his unique powers would be far too much for Homelander to handle. However, it might take Gojo slightly longer to beat Homelander than it would to defeat some other popular anime heroes.

Saitama from One-Punch Man would easily defeat Homelander in a direct fight, likely with just one punch. Saitama is far stronger and tougher; he’s even defeated opponents with godlike abilities like Garou. The main challenge for Saitama would be getting close enough to land a hit, as Homelander can fly and move very quickly. However, Saitama’s incredible jumping ability means the fight wouldn’t last long. While Homelander might manage a brief struggle, he wouldn’t stand much of a chance compared to facing someone like Goku.

As a huge fan of both Dragon Ball and The Boys, I honestly think Goku would absolutely dominate Homelander in a fight! The power levels in Dragon Ball are just on another scale – all that intense training, those incredible transformations, and the fact that they’re connected to cosmic energy… it’s insane. Seriously, Goku wouldn’t even flinch at anything Homelander throws at him. Even without going Super Saiyan, he’s way stronger! We’re talking about a guy who can destroy planets versus someone who… really isn’t. Homelander would be like an ant compared to Goku – it wouldn’t even be a fair fight when it comes to speed and pure strength.
