Trigger Point season 4 unveils first-look teaser trailer ahead of explosive return

The popular thriller Trigger Point is coming back to ITV for a fourth series. A new trailer has just been released, giving fans a sneak peek at the challenges facing Lana Washington (Vicky McClure), an expert in dealing with bombs.

This thrilling series, from the creator of Line of Duty, follows Lana and her bomb disposal team as they bravely defuse dangerous explosives, facing life-or-death situations with incredible courage.

However, their courage has come at a cost. Earlier episodes of the show showed how Lana struggled with severe trauma and grief after facing numerous terrifying situations and heartbreaking losses.

In a new preview, she’s seen talking honestly with someone not shown on screen – possibly a therapist or friend – and wondering if her current job is all there is, asking, “Is this it? Is this the end?”

This moment might make viewers wonder if the character’s story is over, especially since the show’s future is now unclear after it was quickly renewed for a fourth season last year.
