Serafini Productions announced that BrokenLore: DON’T LIE, the newest installment in their chilling psychological horror series, will be released soon. While previous protagonist Annie gets a break to recover from her experiences, this game puts Junko in the center of the terrifying story.
She’s very withdrawn, and her loneliness and struggles with mental health are central to the story. It explores how these issues affect her perception of reality and ultimately lead to her breakdown. While it’s a dark and difficult story, it fits with the unsettling tone of the previous game, BrokenLore: FOLLOW. This time around, however, the game features full Japanese voice acting.
We’re curious – and a little concerned – about the challenges Junko faces. Still, we’re excited to explore them when BrokenLore: DON’T LIE launches on September 10, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Watch the first trailer below, and if you’re on PC, be sure to try the demo during the Steam Next Fest in June 2026.
