Jelly Roll is not okay with having Bunnie Xo on his Instagram.
Following the announcement of their breakup on June 15th, the 41-year-old man took Bunnie’s username off of his Instagram profile.
His profile used to display a lock, a key, and the username @xomgitsbunnie. Now, it just says “Music Man.”
Singer Jason DeFord, known as “Need A Favor,” filed for divorce from the host of the Dumb Blonde podcast on May 18th in Tennessee. They had been married for almost 10 years and separated on May 9th, with the divorce filing citing irreconcilable differences.
While Bunnie (Alisa DeFord) and her partner haven’t officially spoken about their breakup, she did share a mysterious message on her Instagram Story shortly before the news became public.
Alongside a lingerie photo, she wrote, “She’s getting her sparkle back.”
Despite recently filing for divorce, Yung Gravitas and Rachel ‘Bunnie’ XO seemed to be getting along well beforehand. Bunnie even posted a heartfelt message to her family on the date they officially separated.
On May 9th, the 46-year-old shared a TikTok video with Jelly Roll and her 18-year-old stepdaughter, Bailee Ann DeFord, writing, ‘I never believed in happily ever after until I met you all.’ She finished the post with, ‘My babies forever.’
As people learn more about Bailee and Jelly Roll’s relationship, Bailee has asked for privacy for both of them. Jelly Roll is also a father to 9-year-old Noah from a previous relationship, and they are all adjusting to this new phase of their lives.
On June 16th, Bailee expressed her frustration on TikTok, saying she was disturbed by how much attention people were giving to what she described as a private family issue. She called the level of interest “crazy.”

In regards to her thoughts on the divorce, the teen said she wouldn’t be “speaking on it—yet.”
She wanted to address anyone asking about her family, saying, “Stay out of my business and focus on your own lives.”
Now that Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have split up, let’s take a look back at some of the most important moments from their time together.

Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll’s relationship started in Las Vegas. Bunnie shared on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast that she first met the singer in August 2015 while he was performing at the Las Vegas Country Saloon, before he became famous. He was living in a van at the time, and there were only about 20 people at the show.
Despite their differences – Bunnie said he’s usually attracted to someone like Taylor Swift, and neither of them fit each other’s typical type – they felt an instant connection. “My soul was like, ‘There you are,'” she explained in a 2023 podcast interview.
However, a romance didn’t begin immediately. Bunnie was in an unhealthy relationship, and Jelly Roll was focused on his own life. They reconnected in October 2015, and Bunnie quickly fell for him.
After her ex-partner went to prison, she gave Jelly Roll her number through a friend. He started calling and texting her for advice about his daughter, Bailee.
Their connection turned romantic in July 2016 when Jelly Roll returned to Vegas to film videos, and they slept together. Bunnie described a funny encounter where, despite being very drunk, Jelly Roll asked her about her five-year plan. After discussing their goals, they decided to pursue a relationship.

Bunnie and Jelly Roll followed through on their plans quickly. They got married a month after they first connected, in August 2016 at a Las Vegas wedding chapel. Bunnie shared on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast that they even completed a five-year plan they’d made together, with buying a house as the final step.
Bunnie also had her own ambitions. After leaving the sex work industry in 2019, she launched the Dumb Blonde podcast, something she’d expressed a desire to do. Jelly Roll explained on The Howard Stern Show that when she transitioned careers, he asked her what she was passionate about, and she said she wanted to host a talk show.
Bunnie used the money she earned to support Jelly Roll’s career. She invested in his 2017 album, Addiction Kills, and helped him with legal matters related to gaining custody of his daughter, as she revealed on Sofia Franklyn’s podcast, Sofia with an F.

Jelly Roll’s daughter, Bailee, was born in 2008 while he was in prison for drug dealing. He credits Bailee with saving his life, even though she was very young at the time. Bailee remembers him entering her life around age two, as he was starting his music career and living in his van. While Jelly Roll admits he wasn’t very involved as a father initially, he fought for full custody of Bailee when her mother struggled with addiction.
Although their relationship was new, Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie, financially supported his legal battle for custody. This situation prompted both of them to re-examine their own lives and habits. Bunnie realized they couldn’t provide a stable home for Bailee if they continued to struggle with substance abuse, and she committed to sobriety.
Bunnie also embraced a maternal role, and in 2024, for Bailee’s sixteenth birthday, she expressed gratitude to Jelly Roll for allowing her to be the mother she never had, and to Bailee for the healing lessons she’d learned over the past eight years.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie welcomed their son, Noah, around the time of their wedding in August 2016, while Jelly Roll was also navigating a custody battle for his daughter, Bailee. He shared his hopes for Noah on Facebook, writing, “God Bless this Child to be everything I am not!” and expressing a desire for his children to not suffer for his past mistakes.
Over the years, Jelly Roll and Bunnie have generally kept Noah’s life private, sharing only occasional glimpses. In July 2023, Bunnie posted a TikTok video of a Q&A with Noah, where he revealed he loves soccer and playing in the water. She emphasized that she had gotten permission from Noah’s mother before sharing the video.
Bunnie and Jelly Roll have a positive relationship with Noah’s mother, with Bunnie describing her as a wonderful person and expressing gratitude for her help, especially while Jelly Roll is touring. Bunnie cherishes her role as Noah’s stepmother, sharing on Instagram in October 2024 how joyful she is to watch him grow up and how privileged she feels to be a part of his life since his birth.

Oh my gosh, you guys, it’s been such a rollercoaster! I was devastated when I found out Jelly and Bunnie separated a couple of years after they got married. It was so hard to hear, and then he admitted… he admitted to cheating. He talked about it on a podcast, Human School, and said it was the worst moment of his life because he realized he was messing everything up with the woman he loved. It broke my heart for both of them! But then, thankfully, they didn’t give up. Later in 2018, they started working things out, and he said the work they put in made them even stronger than before. He wishes it never happened, of course, but he’s so proud of where they are now. And they really are! Bunnie posted the sweetest thing on TikTok about how them breaking up in 2018, him moving back to Vegas, and her going to get him actually led them to this incredible life together. She said their ‘castle in the sand’ had to fall apart so they could build something real, something lasting. It’s just… so beautiful. They finally kept all their promises from way back in 2016, and honestly, they’re my relationship goals!

As Jelly Roll’s popularity grew, he and Bunnie made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2022 CMA Awards. In the documentary Jelly Roll: Save Me, Bunnie described them as “the Addams Family of the country world,” explaining they feel like outsiders but are embracing their place in the scene.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary in 2023 by renewing their vows. Bunnie fondly remembered their original wedding day, recalling how Jelly Roll reassured her that things would get better and they would overcome the challenges she was facing at the time. He kept his promise.
Bunnie reflected on the past seven years as a difficult but rewarding journey. They worked hard to heal from past traumas, build a healthy relationship, and create a stable home for Bailee, their daughter. Through everything, they faced life’s challenges together with strength and positivity.
Bunnie lovingly described Jelly Roll as her perfect match, safe haven, and best friend – truly one of a kind.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie continue to have a loving relationship, and she’s even been the inspiration behind some of his music, including the songs “Woman” and “Kill a Man.” He told Entertainment Tonight that she’s “the best,” and he struggled to write a love song that felt genuine without sounding cheesy. He wanted to express how deeply he feels for her while still being true to himself. He explained that he doesn’t have eyes for anyone else and wanted a song to reflect that vulnerability. The couple also appeared together in the music videos for “Wheels Fall Off” and “Lonely Road,” which featured Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox.

Bunnie consistently supports her husband, Jelly Roll, whether she’s at his shows or watching from home.
In a heartfelt message celebrating his 2024 CMT Music Awards nomination, she called him “a visionary” and praised his twenty-year journey to success. She recalled times they worried no one was listening, contrasted with the excitement of performing in packed venues.
Bunnie highlighted Jelly Roll’s songwriting ability, describing how he creates deeply moving music that resonates with people who are struggling—music that offers comfort and makes them feel understood.
The couple’s strong bond is inspiring to their fans.
She affectionately called him “Papabear” and said his voice has a healing power, reaching audiences worldwide. She expressed her unwavering love for him, not just in this life but in all future lives as well.
Jelly Roll also publicly admires Bunnie’s achievements, especially the inspiring community she’s built through social media and her podcast. He shared how proud he is of her ability to motivate others, particularly women, on their eighth anniversary.

Bunnie Xo is fiercely protective of her husband, Jelly Roll, and won’t tolerate anyone attacking him. She recently spoke out about the hurtful comments he received online regarding his weight before he lost over 200 pounds, explaining that he had to step away from the internet due to the bullying. While Jelly Roll tries not to show it, Bunnie says these comments deeply affect him. She strongly refuted the idea that celebrities should simply ‘handle’ online negativity, emphasizing that it’s never okay to bully someone, as you don’t know what they’re going through mentally. Bunnie vowed to always defend those who are being targeted and won’t allow lies or bullying towards her family. Jelly Roll has also been open about his health struggles, recently revealing he was facing low testosterone and other issues, and even felt like he was ‘dying’ at one point.

Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie, have been openly sharing their journey to expand their family. After Jelly Roll mentioned they were considering having a baby, Bunnie revealed they’ve been undergoing IVF treatments. In a June 2024 Instagram post, she explained they decided to share their experiences publicly because of their openness with fans, and because the process has already been difficult. Despite the challenges, they remain hopeful about adding to their family, which already includes Bailee and Noah. They’ve been consulting with IVF doctors and exploring all available options. Bunnie also discussed considering surrogacy on her podcast, Dumb Blonde, explaining she’s unable to carry a child herself due to health risks. She shared on a November 2025 episode that they’re trusting in fate and open to adoption if IVF isn’t successful.

Court documents show Jelly Roll filed for divorce in May 2026. Shortly before the news became public, his wife Bunnie shared a message on Instagram with a picture of herself, writing “She’s getting her sparkle back.”
