ITV has renewed Bullseye for another season! Freddie Flintoff will be back to host, and Richard Ashdown will once again keep score.
The show made a popular comeback in 2024, attracting almost 15 million viewers. Last year’s Christmas episode was particularly successful, drawing in 7 million watchers.
Flintoff expressed his excitement about the show’s renewal, saying he’s thrilled Bullseye remains popular with viewers – including himself. He enjoyed reviving the program for television and is eager to see what happens in the upcoming season.
This show features three teams of two – an amateur dart player paired with a teammate – who go head-to-head in challenges. They’ll test their dart skills on various boards, answer trivia, and compete for points and amazing prizes.
Throughout the show, three teams compete until only two remain. These final two then have the chance to risk everything they’ve won for Bully’s Mystery Star Prize.

Katie Rawcliffe, who commissions entertainment, reality, and daytime TV for ITV, said viewers have really enjoyed the return of Bullseye, especially with Freddie Flintoff as the host. She announced they’re making another series to air later this year.
Lily Wilson, managing director at Bright Entertainment, said they’re excited to revive the classic game show Bullseye for British viewers later this year. She believes Freddie Flintoff, who is very popular with the public, is an ideal host for this updated version of the show.
Bullseye was a hugely popular game show in the UK, enjoyed by viewers of all ages. At its height, between 1981 and 1995, it regularly drew up to 10 million viewers on ITV.
Laura Wood, managing director of Bullseye Group Limited, expressed her excitement about the continued popularity of the classic game show Bullseye. She noted that it remains beloved by viewers of all ages and praised Freddie (presumably the current host) for both respecting the show’s history and attracting a new generation of fans.
We’re excited to continue the momentum from Bullseye’s comeback and deliver even more of the enjoyable games and entertainment that have made it a beloved show in Britain for over 40 years.
