If you didn’t get a chance to play Granblue Fantasy: Relink when it came out in 2024, you should definitely try the demo for the new Endless Ragnarok expansion.
If you haven’t heard, Endless Ragnarok is a revamped version of Relink. It includes new characters you can play as, a completely fresh endgame experience, and lots of improvements to how the game plays.
I just got to try out the demo on my PS5, and it’s awesome! It gives you a sneak peek at the beginning of the story, and you can play through a bunch of different missions. You can go it alone with AI partners, or team up with other players online – which is how I prefer to play!
One of the game’s quests introduces the new Summon system in Endless Ragnarok. With it, you can bring powerful elemental creatures into battle to fight alongside you for a limited time.
The demo file size is about 23GB. If you finish the main story and side quests within it, you’ll earn rewards that will carry over to the complete game when it launches on July 9th – which is always a welcome bonus!
Even if you’ve never played Granblue Fantasy, Relink is definitely worth trying. It’s a really solid action RPG with lots of different characters to play, which keeps things interesting even after you finish the main story and start doing extra missions.
And hey, the campaign itself is pretty great too, featuring some fantastic boss fights.
