Madison Prewett and Grant Troutt‘s parenting decision is raising eyebrows.
The newlywed pair, who got married in 2022, disclosed their intention to discipline their daughter, Hosanna (aged 6 months), using the method of spanking at some point in the future. Yet, this traditional approach to discipline has been met with opposition from certain childhood experts.
Kristin Gallant, co-founder of Big Little Feelings (a platform backed by celebrities like Blake Lively and Eva Mendes), advises against spanking children as numerous studies demonstrate the harm it inflicts.
Madison, aged 29, and Grant, also 29, are not alone in their belief in physical discipline, as Kristin pointed out, many people rely on spanking as a method for improving behavior.
Rather than suggesting so, the co-founder of the brand – who boasts a background in maternal and child education, partnered with Deena Margolin in this endeavor – advocates demonstrating respect and setting an exemplary role, avoiding the pitfall of overly permissive parenting.
Kristin clarified that they weren’t giving free rein to what others were doing. Instead, she emphasized that they held the reins, they were in control, they were the ones calling the shots, and they were establishing limits. Instead, Grant and Madison mentioned that their approach to disciplining their daughter aligns with teachings from the Bible.
Grant stated during the July 7 episode of their podcast “Stay True,” “We’ll begin disciplining Hosanna, and I confirmed this on the air.
In response, Madison clarified that a particular Bible passage permits the act of disciplining gently using a rod, emphasizing that it will be done lovingly.
She even shared an example of what the situation may look like one day.
She said, “Sweetheart, have you wondered why I’m correcting you? It’s not that I enjoy punishing you, but rather it’s something I feel is necessary.
As she put it, “there are consequences to disobedience.”

Jason Kelce expressed surprise and amusement on Twitter in June 2024, commenting on a fan observation that he seems to not regularly clean his lower legs and feet.
The retired Philadelphia Eagles player later doubled down on his comments.
On an episode of their podcast, New Heights, he jokingly commented, “Who among psychopaths takes care of feet cleaning?” He further explained, “If there’s any noticeable grime, I’ll remove it thoroughly.
More than a decade following Robert Pattinson’s revelation about witnessing a clown’s death in a car explosion at the circus as a child, he confessed that this event never actually happened.
In the December 2024 interview with The New York Times Style Magazine, Robert recollected that there was not a moment of doubt or hesitation in his voice. Instead, he exclaimed, “Goodness gracious! Are you under some sort of possession?
As for what he said during the 2011 Today interview promoting his film Water for Elephants?
He shared that one of the clowns had met a tragic accident. Specifically, his miniature vehicle burst into pieces. Sadly, this small, comical car malfunctioned and caused harm to the clown. The event was so alarming that everyone present hastily exited, feeling terrified.
Grandma knows best.
During a recent episode of The Kardashians (aired in October 2022), Kim Kardashian shared insights about how her grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, played a significant role in an intimate moment she had with her then-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
According to SKIMS founder, she and Pete spent last weekend at the Beverly Hills Hotel. They were seated near a cozy fireplace, deep in conversation for hours. She then shared with Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian that her grandmother had told her living life fully involved having sex by a fireplace. True to this advice, they indulged in such an experience as a tribute to them.
Grandma’s reaction? A nod of approval.
In a more casual and understandable manner, the dialogue could be rephrased as follows:
“It’s a bit unsettling to think about my grandma during intimate moments,” said Kim. To this, MJ responded, “Yeah, I get that, but we were all young at some point.
The profound love within Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, and their closely bonded family – comprised of their 8-year-old daughter Wyatt and 6-year-old son Dimitri – transcends all limitations.
So much so, that the Black Swan actress revealed they keep an open-door policy at home.
In the interview with TopMob News last September, I shared that our family has made the bathroom a part of our everyday lives. It’s become something we all just accept, good or bad, as a regular part of being a family and raising children – accepting and dealing with bodily functions as an everyday norm.
Mila agreed to let them in after persistent knocks and requests from her family, which eventually led her to respond with “Well, might as well leave the door open.
Pre-kids, she might not have imagined she’d flush that particular boundary away.
She remarked, “I wouldn’t have imagined myself as someone who could use an open bathroom door.
Ghouls just want to have fun.
During a particular episode in October 2022, the panelists on The View discussed footage about a woman claiming to have “sexual ghosts” at her home. At this point, Sara Haines posed an intriguing question to the group: “Could one conceive a child if they were intimate with a spirit?
Luckily for her, fellow host Joy Behar provided a response, stating, “I’ve been intimate with a handful of spirits, yet I’ve never conceived.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’ll simply choose to go along with that statement, not feeling the need to immediately address or react to it at this moment. Just like Joy so eloquently shared, I too am content to let things unfold naturally for now.
Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb have a close bond, although there was one thing Hoda wasn’t aware of about her co-host on the Today show. As they prepared for an episode of Today with Hoda and Jenna, Hoda found out that Jenna often doesn’t wear underwear.
During a recent episode of “Today with Hoda and Jenna”, Hoda mentioned that they both needed to get changed before the show. She added, “I realized something peculiar about Jenna – she doesn’t wear underwear.
Jenna’s rationale? Well, no underwear might just be more convenient to her.
She commented, “It gives a more attractive outline,” she said. Also, there are numerous advantages to consider when packing less.
Looks like someone hasn’t been keeping up.
Britney Spears discovered that she related to Keke Palmer’s popular quote, “I wouldn’t recognize him if he walked past me on the street,” when she confessed that she wasn’t familiar with Pete Davidson and Scott Disick.
Sharing again on Instagram a hilarious video from March featuring Pete, who was previously dating Kim Kardashian and Scott (Kourtney Kardashian’s ex), having a “guys night out.” Britney mentioned that they had her laughing uncontrollably.
Britney apologized for having to reshare this, as her original post has been removed. She doesn’t recognize the individuals in the video, but found it incredibly amusing!
Before Chris Evans was recognized as Captain America and People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2022, Jana Kramer remembered him as the charming, cute guy she went out on a few dates with.
Approximately 10 years back, the singer shared this detail on her “Whine Down with Jana Kramer” podcast in November. Although she can’t specify the exact number of their dates, she clearly remembers their final meeting.
At around age 26, Jana mentioned that Chris had invited her to his place, as he was hosting friends who were visiting from Boston.
Jana recalled their last interaction vividly: he had gone into the bathroom right after she had left following an asparagus-scented pee. They didn’t end up together that night; instead, he spent the rest of it with friends, and in the morning, she made a hasty exit from his house, mimicking the “asparagus walk of shame.
She added, “I never heard from him again.”
Not all of these confessions are amusing.
After eight years, writer Elisabeth Finch confessed in December that the bone cancer battle she had written about in an ELLE article was actually a fabrication. The fictional diagnosis even influenced a storyline on Grey’s Anatomy.
Elisabeth shared with The Ankler newsletter on December 7th that she told a lie when she was 34 years old, which turned out to be the biggest regret of her life. This mistake continued to grow and deepen within her. She also mentioned, “I’ve never had any form of cancer.
In simpler terms, Finch, who temporarily stepped down from his role in the ABC medical drama and later resigned, admitted, “What I did was wrong, not acceptable, a mistake – to put it bluntly.
Beauty is pain, but Kim Kardashian might be able to stomach it.
Expressing her determination for a more youthful look to The New York Times, the reality star jokingly admitted she wouldn’t hesitate to explore various methods.
In June, she stated, “Given that I’d need to consume feces daily for a more youthful appearance, I might just consider it.
During an interview with Allure in July 2022, Kim clarified that her earlier comment was made in a playful manner. However, she also acknowledged that the concept wasn’t entirely far-fetched.
Reflecting on it now, Kim remarked, “I suppose I might even consume such a thing if someone said to me, ‘Eat this daily bowl of ‘poo’, and you’ll appear more youthful’.
She indicated that she might be able to accommodate a small amount, since she said, “Perhaps just a taste,” to the news source. She doesn’t believe she could manage an entire serving.
Jelly Roll could’ve used some saving from himself.
During a guest spot on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” in April 2025, the artist known for his hit song “Save Me” openly shared his most mortifying experience without any reservations.
“I pooped myself one time,” he admitted. “I did, I’m sorry.”
However, it’s important to note that Jelly Roll (born Jason Bradley DeFord) probably wasn’t anticipating such a severe impact.
He assertively stated, “I truly believed there was nothing to it.” Later, he regretfully acknowledged, “I saw the audience who once adored me, now turning away entirely.
