And Just Like That will come to an end after its current third season, it has been confirmed.

Michael Patrick King, the creator and showrunner of the new Sex and the City spin-off, shared on social media that they have decided to conclude the series with its final episode. He described this ending as a “wonderful stopping point.

The original cast members, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, have voiced their feelings about the series ending, with Kristin Davis expressing deep sadness at its conclusion.

During the process of penning the final episode for And Just Like That season three, it struck me that this could be an ideal point to conclude the story. In collaboration with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys, and Sarah Aubrey, we ultimately decided to wrap up the beloved series this year with a two-part finale, and extended the initial 10-episode order to a total of 12 episodes.

We delayed revealing the news, not to let the term ‘final’ dim the joy of watching the series. With heartfelt appreciation, we express our thanks to all viewers who welcomed these characters into their homes and hearts throughout the years.

On her personal Instagram account, Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw) posted a collection of pictures from the show and penned an emotional message honoring her renowned character.

For nearly three decades, Carrie Bradshaw has been a constant source of inspiration in my professional life. In truth, I believe she’s held the biggest piece of my heart among all characters I’ve admired. Many others have felt the same way – loving her, growing frustrated with her, and rooting for her success.

The blend of all those feelings has served as an extraordinary soundtrack and a deeply impactful comrade throughout my life. As such, I carry with me an immense sense of heartfelt appreciation and perpetual indebtedness towards each one of you.

The AJLT production was filled with joy, excitement, challenging labor intermingled with exceptional skill – a collective effort from the incredible talents of 380 individuals, our remarkable cast. I sincerely hope that you’ll cherish these last two episodes as much as we have enjoyed creating them.

Alongside her personal collection of Instagram photos, the actress portraying Miranda Hobbes, Nixon, expressed: “I can hardly believe our exhilarating, stunning journey with And Just Like That is nearing its end. It’s been a sheer pleasure from the beginning to the end. I will deeply miss working alongside these talented individuals every day, but know that we’ll forever be intertwined in each other’s lives.
