Although Maggie merely attempted to convince Jimmy to get married, Jix unexpectedly managed to marry him, even though neither of them intended it. Interestingly, Jix is an interdimensional and interplanetary jewel thief, seeking to recover her family’s gems that were stolen when her people were enslaved by an alien race centuries ago. She encountered Jimmy Olsen during a mission in Gorilla City, which led to their unconventional union. After waking up with a hangover the next morning, they were married without any real plans for a long-term relationship. However, Jix left immediately after the wedding and their encounters throughout the second volume of Superman’s Pal, Jimmy Olsen. Despite their legal marriage, they never truly formed a couple, but Jimmy did manage to gain her respect by the end. Amusingly, this wasn’t the first time Jimmy had to annul his marriage, but it was the longest lasting one, despite its brevity due to Jix’s departure. Indeed, this is classic Jimmy.

4) Forager II

In an unusual twist, Jimmy Olsen’s relationship with Forager was particularly strange, not due to Forager being an alien bug-person, but because the circumstances under which it began were quite unusual. This unusual beginning unfolded during the disliked “Countdown to Infinite Crisis” storyline. Darkseid, a powerful villain, had taken control of Jimmy Olsen’s body, using him as a vessel for the souls of the New Gods, planning to use him as a living bomb to remake the universe. This possession granted Jimmy extraordinary powers and gradually changed his personality. It was during this period that he met Forager, who developed feelings for the transformed Jimmy, and they began dating.
