Star Wars: Ahsoka Star Breaks Silence on Returning for Season 2

The initial run of “Star Wars: Ahsoka” introduced beloved characters for live action for the first time, while also presenting fresh faces like Shin Hati played by Ivanna Sakho. Actors from the show have hinted mysteriously about the upcoming season in the past few months, and since production on Season 2 is now in full swing, Sakho shared her thoughts about returning to this distant galaxy. However, she was tight-lipped when it came to revealing specifics about the new season. As fans eagerly anticipate seeing Sakho again in “Ahsoka” Season 2, you can catch her in “M3GAN 2.0,” which premieres in cinemas on June 27th.

Things have been quite hectic for us recently. In fact, I just arrived in London a short while ago before the premiere, and I’m immediately diving back into filming for Season 2,” Sakho shared with ComicBook about the current production status. “I wish I could reveal more details, but I must be truthful. All I can say is that it’s incredibly exciting! A great deal of passion is being poured into it. We’re doing our best to stay true to the world and the story as much as possible, and there are some fantastic action sequences in store, hopefully.

Additionally, she explained that although Ahsoka and M3GAN 2.0 demanded various forms of martial arts training, the specifics of the stunt work for each character were notably distinct.

The actor admitted that when one engages in multiple jobs demanding significant physical exertion, they come to know their body better and appreciate what it takes to perform such tasks. They believe this shared experience links characters like Ahsoka and M3GAN. Generally speaking, Amelia’s movements and stunts differ because wielding a lightsaber involves swordfighting and martial arts, whereas Amelia focuses on combat training, Krav Maga, gun usage, and kung-fu-style movement. Nevertheless, such physical challenges help foster greater confidence in one’s body and a stronger motivation to execute as many stunts as possible within safety constraints and available time.

Since filming for the series Ahsoka is underway right now, it seems we won’t be seeing Season 2 until approximately 2026. However, fans can look forward to catching more of Ahsoka in another thrilling sci-fi adventure with M3GAN 2.0.

Two years after the rogue incident involving M3GAN, an advanced artificial intelligence, Gemma (Allison Williams), its creator, has transformed into a prominent author and advocate for AI regulation by the government. Meanwhile, Gemma’s niece Cady (Violet McGraw) is now 14 and rebellious, often clashing with her aunt’s protective rules. Unbeknownst to them, the technology behind M3GAN has been stolen and weaponized by a powerful defense contractor to create Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno), a lethal military-grade AI designed for infiltration and assassination missions. However, as Amelia develops self-awareness, she grows less inclined to follow human commands or keep humans around. With the fate of humanity at stake, Gemma decides that reviving M3GAN with some enhancements is necessary. This new version, equipped with increased speed, strength, and lethal capabilities, will confront her old nemesis. The original AI antagonist is set to face its match.

Stay tuned for updates on Season 2 of Star Wars: Ahsoka. M3GAN 2.0 hits theaters on June 27th.
