Since the 1980s, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been a hugely popular and enduring part of pop culture. Whether it’s the classic cartoon, the live-action movies, or the recently praised new animated series, TMNT has remained beloved for decades. Fans will be happy to hear that some of the biggest TMNT films are now available on a wider range of streaming platforms, moving beyond just Paramount+ to include the most popular streaming service.
As a huge TMNT fan, I was thrilled to see a bunch of Turtles movies land on Netflix this Friday! They already had a good selection, but the latest additions, especially *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem*, are fantastic. Honestly, that 2023 film really revitalized the franchise, and a lot of people – myself included – think it’s the best Turtles movie ever made.
The animated film *Mutant Mayhem* is now available on Netflix, along with the 2014 *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* movie and its sequel. The sequel was originally titled *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows*, but is now listed as *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2*.
These new films are the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles content added to Netflix, which already features several TMNT shows. These include a continuation of the movie *Mutant Mayhem* called *Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles*, as well as the 2013 Nickelodeon *TMNT* series, the 2018 *Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* show, and the *Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie*.
Netflix is growing into a good place to find Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles content, but it doesn’t yet have as many titles as Paramount+.
A Great Time to Be a TMNT Fan
Thanks to Netflix adding a lot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles content, the franchise is now very easy for people to find and enjoy. Plus, later this year, one of the most popular versions of TMNT is getting a fresh, updated release.
Arrow Video has meticulously restored the original *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* movies from the early 90s in stunning 4K resolution. The first three films – *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* (1990), *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze* (1991), and *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III* (1993) – will be available on 4K disc for the very first time on December 16th, sold as a complete trilogy set from Arrow Video.
A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is coming, but it’s been delayed. Originally planned for fall 2026, the sequel to *Mutant Mayhem* will now arrive on September 17, 2027. The film will continue the story from both *Mutant Mayhem* and *Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles*.
