Paramount+ subscribers can finally watch the latest episodes of a popular Nickelodeon show after a year-long wait. Paramount+ is the main place to stream Nick content, offering a wide range of shows – from old favorites like SpongeBob SquarePants, Henry Danger, and iCarly, to current hits. Now, the platform has even more to offer with the release of a new season of a beloved modern Nickelodeon series.
On March 11th, all 13 episodes of The Loud House Season 8 became available on Paramount+, just eight months after finishing its run on Nickelodeon. Created by Chris Savino, the show – which is one of the longest-running Nickelodeon series and Nicktoons ever – follows 11-year-old Lincoln Loud as he deals with the funny and often chaotic experiences of growing up with ten sisters. Season 8 brings some changes, including the return of Lori from college, and features plenty of adventurous and hilarious moments, including a special Halloween episode.
The Loud House Is One of the Best Modern Nickelodeon Animated Series
While the classic days of Nickelodeon are over, The Loud House shows the network can still create excellent cartoons. It’s become a key part of Nickelodeon today, offering a funny and heartwarming look at family life that many viewers can relate to. The show skillfully mixes hilarious chaos with touching moments, and it’s notable for its commitment to showing diverse characters. Plus, its animation style feels like a modern take on the classic Sunday comics, bringing a sense of nostalgia.
The show has consistently been good, and Season 8 continued that trend. While it didn’t receive an official critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, viewers enjoyed it, giving it a 70% rating – close to the show’s overall average of 73%. This season featured some really enjoyable episodes and moments, especially those with Lana and Lily. Episodes like “The Cling and I,” which earned a 9/10 on IMDb, were particularly well-received and reminded fans of the show’s earlier, heartwarming style.
Will There Be a The Loud House Season 9?
Good news for fans of The Loud House! Season 8 premiered on Nickelodeon in August with the episode “Summer Camp: Ticked Off,” and more episodes are still coming. While it’s not yet known when Season 8 will be available on Paramount+, the show hasn’t been canceled despite recent rumors. Writer Kevin Sullivan confirmed they’re hoping for a Season 10, but there haven’t been any new announcements about the show’s future.
